Rex,
Love you man, I only posted to be honest with you guys, I want camaraderie when we meet. I'm competing no matter what, I told you its spiritual at this point.
I fucked up and learned for next time, but there is no going back, I'm staying at 220 for the comp, simply because there is no training time left.
Your right about the carbs being energy, the point is I should have dedicated my life to trying to get to 250 or even 260 rather than diet to 220.
Every serious powerlifter I spoke to said I'm a dick for dieting down for a comp that has a 30 min. weigh in. MOst big comps have 24 - 48 hrs you can put 15 pounds back in no time.
I'm going to man up and take it on the chin and route you fucks on and scream and yell like I've been training with you guys from day one.
As far as talking shit, yeah I talked shit at 240 because I could back it up, but at 220 I'm a little bitch and well...if possible,...I would very much like to carry your towel at the meet.
I'll be there rain or shine, by all means abuse me.
The beauty of powerlifting is its a continuous learning process and I won't make this mistake again.
Thanks for the input Rex, I expect you to dominate the 198's.
And stop calling me Ibench....call me Mike
Mike
