Now I know why guys don’t date women with kids

1. They always have psycho X’s

2. The kid(s) are wild and undisciplined

3. Its too weird to watch the kids get away with murder and not know whether or not you should say or do anything. (The whole disciplining someone else’s kid thing)

4. The women are really clingy and want to please you and do anything for you, but you know it’s most likely a show and will end soon as they know they got ya.

5. you have to like two people not just one

The only one that was true in my case was number 1... but it was so gawdawfull, didn't matter much that the others had nothing to do with me and my kids.

.... that is till I met my husband.

Single moms are definitely not to be trifled with and I never EVER took offense if a guy opted to pass on dating me because I had children or just because of the sheer number (I have four).

I had guys say that they wouldn't consider going on a date with me when I had four kids. Totally acceptable point of view, except this one time I thought it odd as HE HAD FOUR KIDS TOO! LOL

gotta get over it. my wife had 4 when I dated her. we're married and I adopted the kids. it's the best thing that ever happened to me.

My husband is DYING to father my girls... and I am DYING for them to see what it is like to see their mother treated with love, kindness and respect so that they have a shot in life at choosing a man UNlike their spermdonor and more like the only father they will ever know - my husband.

But as I stated, dating a single mother is definitely NOT for ever guy. Any woman who would take offense to this is well, silly and would be best avoided by everyone IMHO.

And for the record - damaged goods is more like an adult of either gender that is 40+ and hasn't been able to commit to another human being yet.

Worked out well for me.. a good woman is a good woman whether she has kids, psycho-ex's or not.

But the reality is they ARE rare and very much the exception. Ive seen it more often than not where the OP is right on the money.. especially in San Diego.
