not a single long weekend plans thread

so...I'll start

Im sitting in an empty house (okay one chair)
with most of my possessions in my a truck in my driveway...


I will be;
going to work tomorrow
grilling something at some point...cuz the grill isnt loaded up yet
and going to walk on the beach with the family peoples
possibly going rock climbing by my lonesome for some stress relief




heres where everyone in here tells me their way better plans.....

going drunken cabrewing on sunday. finishing up bartending school and applying for landscaping jobs in the summer (just in case i dont get a bartending job)

I sat on the deck out back, watching all the fools trying to get out of the Los Angeles area toward Santa Barbara on old Hwy 118. It happens every year, and it's one of may favorite things to watch. Sometimes we make bets on how long it might take an SUV full of screaming kids to go 100 feet, and we make bets on how many overheated cars will be parked by sundown Friday of Memorial Day or Labor Day weekends. I guess it might be my mean streak, but I can't resist making fun of all those people who think they have to be like everybody else and go camping or drive out of town on a holiday weekend. On Monday afternoon, it will be the same thing in reverse. Only difference is that I have to go put a Caterpillar tractor to block our road at the highway at about 2:00, or some wise-ass will turn up our road thinking they can get through, and about a million will follow like ants in spilled sugar.

i was spoda spend the weekend at dewey beach but i got sick so i'm ending my east coast trip a coupla days early and driving home =/

Gonna go to a friend's band, playing 2nite.

Picking up a Gladwell book, and then putting it back down, to watch tv.

Haven't worked since April, so hell, I have lost schedule of holidays.

not planning anything in particular this weekend other than ride my bike weather permitting. I'm working Monday so it's just another weekend for me. Next Friday though I leave for 10 days in the old country though....España!

Yesterday my wife was off so we went clothes and food shopping
Today I woke up early and went bass fishing in a buddies boat on the river for 6 hrs. Caught one small mouth, but it was beautiful out so it didn't matter.
Now I'm home and am debating on cutting the grass, or to do it tommorow.

Spent the weekend with the family...My nephew's son graduated from high school and I attended with my sister....she is getting the final say on her divorce from the court tomorrow...and her soon to be ex sat close behind us. The divorce has caused major chaos in the family and Java is no drama...I don't defend his ten year affair but I also don't defend demonizing him because he served two tours in Vietnam, being awarded the CIB from tour one, and then continued to serve in Desert Storm, Balkans and Iraqi Freedom...We're all a little crazy from our service and I'll never defend oath breaking but some people fare better than others when it comes to reintegrating.
