I played guildwars and WoW.. how sad.. I'm totally a closet geek.. or an ex closet geek at least..

I've never played either, so my last post probably made no sense, lol. I've seen WOW played, and it looked childlike in terms of simplicity and ease/shortness of playing. No mandatory groups, no economy, no getting annihilated by soloing blues... lol.

ha.. hardly..

shortness is unheard of.. you have to grind and spend countless hours to get anything worthwhile..

also the worthwhile stuff comes with teamwork and raiding.. much like in everquest.. like 40 group instances and such.. we actually used the same DKP system that was invented in EQ.. and the pvp system was good..

guildwars was awesome pvp maybe to much, and wow was to much raiding and grinding..

I'm waiting to play warhammer 40k.. maybe I don't really have time for video games anymore..

it was a good game though.. =)

Yeah, I've only watched old friends play WOW, and they always solo'd multiple mobs at once and seemed to med and heal in a fraction of the time as Equipoise - boldenone undecylenate - , but I only saw a small amount at mid-levels.

I never got into PVP... I guess the game was intricate enough without adding another variable.

Time was a huge one -- MMORPG's take a lot of time, and it's not really practical when someone has other obligations. I gave up leveling around mid-30's to whore the East Commons tunnel buying and selling. Once I hit the 30's, groups took 3+ hours, and the lvl 40+ raids sometimes allotted 8 hours mandatory, easily.

Is EQ even still around? I remember some hoopla with EQII, but never actually saw it played by anyone.

Geeks are underrated.

Yep, EQI is still around -- this is my friend's profile, and it looks like he still bloody plays this game: http://eqplayers.station.sony.com/character_profile.vm?characterId=601295424411

Total Time Played 231 day 4 hours 1 minute

Okay, that's geek. 200+ days is a lot. That's over 5,000 hours of playing a game. Wow.

hijacked by a mod! I love it, heh.

I had a friend that got "married" in Everquest. Those of us who even played the game laughed behind his back at something so pathetic. Needless to say, I didn't bring him any gifts. :D
