This is just over a week since I finished the dnp, I finished the dnp weighing 220lbs(those were the pics I posted in the dnp thread), and this morning I weighed in just over 230lbs(just under 5'9"). The rebound was wild.

DUDE, your as thick as you are tall. Nice work. Is this your personal best? What's the BF? Your a freak, lol. Wish I had half of what you got.

Thanks, I put on around 15-20lbs this year, still need to add another 20 before I compete again. Not sure of bf, I'm guessing around 8%.
I should post up a before pic, I started at 130lbs

All you need is some oiling up and you are ready for the show...................

Anyways i am nobody to talk, but it seems like you lost some size on those monster arms.......... biceps to be exact, but im sure that will come back up.


Looking great bro and keep up the progress and pic posting.

i think he added to them, his triceps got so much bigger that it takes away from the biceps. just wait till he drys out, he'll be money
 
arms arre actually up about 3/4" this year, they are sitting at about 19" cold now, were close to 19 1/2 when I started the diet.
Quads were almost 29" when I started the diet, sitting around 27-28" now
bigbair, funny thing is I dont feel like I've even gained 1/2 that much weight, but according to the scale I have. Probably because its taken me so long
 
You look great but your back def needs some improvement.

What kind of excercises do you do for it?
 
my back workout was revamped this year, and it did bring me some much needed size, but I still need a lot more. One week I deadlift heavy(ie550lbs for 6 reps), then follow with pulling and rowing stuff. The opposite week, do deads, just concentrating on width. The exercises I've been rotating between are weighted chins, cable pulldowns, hammer strength pulldowns, rows, etc(my gym has 8 hammer strength back machines), cable rows, t bar rows, etc

This is my current split
day 1 chest/calves
day 2 back/shoulders
day 3 rest
day 4 bis/tris/calves
day 5 quads/hams/abs
day 6 rest

My leg routine was simplified this year, and it really worked.
squats 2 sets 5-10 reps
leg press 2 sets 8-10 reps
hack squat triple drop set
I really concentrated on adding weight to the exercises, and it workes as I put 1.5" on my quads in 8 months
 
looking huge needsize. Your quads are enormous.

I think your rear doble bicep looks good, but some lower lat work will bring up your rear lat spread.

I greatly admire your dedication and also your simplicity in training. While many here wax lyrical about the bio-mechanics of this and that, you keep it relatively simple and keep growing.
 
looking like a silverback in that crab pose bro. Your legs are sick, you can tell you've done some serious squatting, I really hope to be where you are in the next 2 years! :)

Man, you look great! If you have any, your back is your only flaw as of right now, I'd put that 1st on your priority list. Everything else looks full and proportioned. Way to go. What types of cycles do you run?
 
Excellent. I might suggest a suit that angles up more on the sides. Your waist is tight but that suit makes your hips look wider.

dialtone, mine actually fit like that, but I left them sitting like that and didnt even notice till you pointed it out. After not putting them on for almost a year I forgot how they were supposed to go
 
Nice quads bro, how many inches are they? When I started working out 2 and half yrs ago I weighed an enormous 150lbs at 6' tall. I was the smallest guy in the all juicers gym. I'm now 220 at about 11% bf. I have before pictures which I pull out on occasion and laugh at. Its a wonder I didn't blow away in a slight breeze. Nice work man.
