TSA operators can now either view children naked in their scanner - or body fondle them if they don't want to go through. Basically can legally molest kids.

Children 12 years old and under who require extra screening will receive a modified PAT DOWN.

It's just another a big govt lie that stupid americans always fall for hook, line & sinker (eg: yes, images DO get saved, Chertoff & others do profit from the sales, TSA do look to make sure people don't smuggle out gold & jewellery, TSA was solely created as a job creation tool for low-educated americans to get their asses off welfare). Anyone here REALLY think the TSA has helped airline security?

The purpose (just like the "war on terror and evil wmd's) is to make people who you will never meet, a LOT of money. Think those machines were made by a non-profit organization?

so it seems that if you dont want to go through the body scan you can request the pat down, this patdown is so "enhanced" they check females underwire in their bra, they check your pants in the creases and if you are fat they may check your fat flaps... if you decide the pat down is too invasive and you think "fuck this I'm going greyhound" you CAN NOT leave, if you leave the airport without being fully scanned/in the middle of a security check you can e fined up to $11,000 this is RIDICULOUS....

I honestly dont give a fuck if they see me through the body scanner I'm sure they've seen hotter chicks in their day...

I don't care how they search me, as long as it's FAST enough that I can get on the plane. I've said it before, and I'm saying it again now, 98% of those TSA rules are a joke, and are written to make people "feel safe". They have not stopped a single terrorist, as all of the actual terrorist plots have been stopped way before any airports. They even admitted this week, that the new policies would NOT have caught the "underwear bomber" last Christmas. So it makes no sense to me. They were too busy un-profiling by searching 90-year-old Methodist ladies from Omaha in wheelchairs to catch him, I guess.

As far as feeling invaded, I honestly don't care. I'm not self-conscious, and I'm secure, and I've been to about every kind of doctor there is (God bless except an oncologist), and I've been in boarding school, and even in the Los Angeles County Jail when I was 21. So there's nothing new about me being searched or naked in a public building.

I figure just let them spin their wheels at all this goofiness, and next time a bomber walks right through (as my wife accidentally walked right through security at DFW with a loaded Kahr 9mm auto), they will see that it's sadly misguided "security".

Govt security is a joke. With long lines, what's to stop terrorists from blowing up the security area and taking out like 1,000 people? Think they haven't thought of that scenario?

Having new microwave waves go through me is not something I'm a big fan of. Think the govt is gonna admit anything if i develop a tumor 50 years from now from years of flying 5x a month?
