From an astrological perspective, you need complete birth information (date, time, location). I know a lot of people who won't give out their birth information because it's too revealing about your personality. I'm just a dabbler. Too much memorization for me.

oh, heck..i'm not crazy town, she's just pretty, and i'm still alive enough to notice stuff like that..and i've always been a sucker for a pretty face..and purely from a "first impressions" standpoint, that's always been the thing that i've noticed long before i ever looked below their neck..i was just sort of paying her a compliment, that's all.
oh and, i just generally like girls..i better..i have a dang house full of them
What if you dont have the exact time of birth? I remember having Abby and I know for a fact the nurses guessed the time she was born because they looked at eachother , shrugged their shoulders and said 5:15. lol. July 9, 1981 for me. I'll have to figure out the time later....one minute after my sister.

Ideally you want the closest to the minute but at least the nearest hour. Certain parts of your chart change according to what time you're born. One particularly important aspect of your chart is called your Ascendent, and that changes every two hours, going through the full zodiac in a 24 hour cycle.
If anyone is curious, a good location for doing your chart and giving you a short interpretation of that chart, all for free, is Astro.com.

yes. although someone is gonna come on here and say "but but even a minute makes a difference" but think about how many astrologers will take your money and do readings without knowing the exact minute of your birth
if astrology wasn't horse shit, personality traits would show a statistically significant correlation with time of birth, which they don't.
