Nelmsjer's 2006 Journal

HA! Thanks, guys.

I'm going to go with behind the head because my next method is actually blut wump's...no joke. Plate on the head. Holding it there increases the lever arm for the weight.

When I place it on my chest, I feel like there is no load after about halfway up, and that's holding it as high as I can on my chest.

:wavey: to both of ya'!

Hot-Rox (Biotest). I'll add ephedra later, if I need it.
Ahhhhh, YES......my FAVE!!! YOU know which one I'm talkin' 'bout! lol

IP, just watch that he doesn't start to spike his hair.

What really gets me here, and I can sympathize with Nelms that some kids stole his E17 before he got around to using it, is that AnotherButters knew about them. Can anyone explain that and leave AB with his dignity intact?
Well, if you look back, you'll see I cunningly pointed them out in a question, leaving my knowledge of their actual existence questionable and my dignity distinctly intact.

Besides, I exclusively work out listening to Take That ;)

If today's workout is any indication of my future, it's looking bright. :)

Everything was easy. I'm not using the term loosely. Everything was literally easy. Last week I posted a vid of my squats at 345. I did 355 today, just as low, and did it faster and more confidently. Bench was a breeze. Power cleans were great, and I jerked the last rep again... 210, which is a new PR for me. Anyway, I've got to believe that some of this is from the fat burners and the moderate stimulatory effect.

Hey, I'll take it. Last set in the group is for a triple. No backoff set.

Squat: 175/215/260/305/355

Bench Press: 125/160/190/225/260

Power Clean: 105/125/155/180/210 - PR jerk at the end

It's freaking too quiet on the boards on the weekends. Drop by if you get a chance. Otherwise, have a great weekend!

No doubt. When I first discovered Redline I thought I entered a new era of training :) Caffeine is an awesome enhancer, but you build up a tolerance so quickly to it. If I wasn't a big coffee drinker now, I could cycle in caffeine to coincide with my PR attempts and probably eek a few extra pounds on a few lifts. But my coffee habit of two 20 oz. cups a day has rendered pre-workout caffeine next to useless.

Nice job there. For me personally, it's always an official milestone when there's either a 'new' 25 or 45 on the end of the bar. That keeps the goals 'meaningful' yet not so far off that I lose sight of them. Eg: got 500 even on deads, next goal: 545 (5 plates and a 25) even though I'm really after 600.

Thanks, and the bolded is exactly how I feel. Next squat triple is 3 plates and a new 25 on each side. :) I'm ready!

Nelms ... dropping by per your request ^^ :)

Congrats on the new PR and positive gains! That is AWESOME ... (sorry IP) But I don;t even wanna think about your squats being any BETTER than that video... you know why and we'll leave it at that.

You continue to blow me away ... & inspire me as well. Thank you for that. Good bro ;)

Nice workout, really jealous of your squat. I want it!

Yep it's always nice to hear that 'clunk' instead of a 'clink' when you slap the weight on the bar :)

Thanks, Bunny, not just for dropping by, but for the compliments! I'm honored and amazed that I inspire you, so I'll do my best to keep it going. :)

Hmmmmm....I'll have to see about my next squat video...I'm thinking that I'll wait until it's 385 or 405 for a triple...
