Needto Protein Bar = the real experience

All right, I placed an initial order through Jam, great company but $11 for shipping still it was worth it since the end product was great.

I ordered 2 packages, the 1st was made following the original recipe, 1 cup of smart choice peanut butter and 3/4 cup of honey

loved the product, looked too dry but it set up very nicely, and i dont' really like peanut butter all that much. Cut into 12 equal bars and wrapped in saran wrap they only lasted 3 days with me and the wife eating them.

2nd package..

I tried with sugar free maple syrup and peanut butter since i only wanted to change 1 ingredient at time to insure i didn't get confused. It was the consistency of paste, and a loose paste at that even after being in the frig, so i pmed needto and he asked if he could call me on the phone (i was also having an issue with my account at his website) so he called me.

We talked, he explained the differences in viscosity (not his word) in syrup and even in honey but the solution was to add oats or some additional protein powder to fix the bars.. It worked like a charm.

The 2nd batch I split so i could try honey and almond butter, if you don't believe anything.. do the honey and the almound butter it is the most perfect combination especially if you don't care for peanut butter taste.

If you need to be sugar free, my recommendation is to do additional cardio so you can consume the almound butter and the honey recipe.

Thanks Needto for the quick and personal attention you gave to me as a customer, thanks for the knowledge and thanks for taking my suggestions to heart. I look forward to you coming products and where is my damn discount for your web site?

Good luck..

I've been making mine with sugar free maple syrup. They've turned out good and I really like the taste.
I think i'll try honey for the next batch to see how that tastes. I'll have to limit myself to eating them PWO though.. :)

These have been awesome when I'm caught up in work and don't want to make anything.

I'm really interested in these, but it really is a turn off for me to have to make them myself by adding a sugar and a peanut butter. Why don't I just use my protein powder and make my own?

Damn - whoever heard of getting technical support on a protein bar? That is awesome that he'd take the time to call you...

Open Package, Pour in Bowl.. Pour in Honey, Add Peanut Butter.. Mix. Done.
If that process is a turn off for you, you think you will want to go to the grocery store, pick up all the ingredients you need, Measure them out, Then make them.
Trying to eat a healthy high protein diet is hard enough with 6+ meals a day, figuring out what to make for each meal. This is just a simple no brainer solution to make eating a proper clean diet easier.

They seem really easy to eat- like when detour bars first came out. Actually you guys are making it sound better.

Well like evil said. If you want to

1. get a recipe that taste as good as mine.
2. go to the store and buy all the ingredents (often cost more then my boars)
3. measure it all out perfect and mix it all up. Of course most recipes you find will also involve cooking them.
3. clean up the whole big ass mess you just made making them.

This way is cheaper, saves more time, its easy, and it taste better..

All the recipes I list in on my forum are just as easy too. They take 2 mins and they are no bake.
