All right, I placed an initial order through Jam, great company but $11 for shipping still it was worth it since the end product was great.
I ordered 2 packages, the 1st was made following the original recipe, 1 cup of smart choice peanut butter and 3/4 cup of honey
loved the product, looked too dry but it set up very nicely, and i dont' really like peanut butter all that much. Cut into 12 equal bars and wrapped in saran wrap they only lasted 3 days with me and the wife eating them.
2nd package..
I tried with sugar free maple syrup and peanut butter since i only wanted to change 1 ingredient at time to insure i didn't get confused. It was the consistency of paste, and a loose paste at that even after being in the frig, so i pmed needto and he asked if he could call me on the phone (i was also having an issue with my account at his website) so he called me.
We talked, he explained the differences in viscosity (not his word) in syrup and even in honey but the solution was to add oats or some additional protein powder to fix the bars.. It worked like a charm.
The 2nd batch I split so i could try honey and almond butter, if you don't believe anything.. do the honey and the almound butter it is the most perfect combination especially if you don't care for peanut butter taste.
If you need to be sugar free, my recommendation is to do additional cardio so you can consume the almound butter and the honey recipe.
Thanks Needto for the quick and personal attention you gave to me as a customer, thanks for the knowledge and thanks for taking my suggestions to heart. I look forward to you coming products and where is my damn discount for your web site?
Good luck..
