Well today I decided to start a PL routine. I am going to follow a 4 day split.
Mon-Legs & Abs
Tues-Chest & Tri's
Thurs-Back & Bi's & Abs
Fri-Shoulder & calfs
I start out with a warm up, 5 mins or so on the tredmill and then a few light warm up sets before jumping into a 5x5 compound movement.
Today was legs so I did
Squats
2x8 warmup
5x5 working
Leg extensions
2x8
Leg press
2x8
Leg curls
2x8
My question is am I on the right track? Is this to much work not enough? My main focus here is strength.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appritated.
