what bout larry johnson back in the day

good question, Larry was a beast back in the day. Still have his Jersey from the Hornets. :)

he worked out a lot and did boxing for a while, no one is really going to know the truth about who takes what

Try playing an 82 (84?) game season, practicing every day, hitting the gym, all the while being away from home for half the year and tell me you couldn't use a little something for recovery. Jesus man, I swear you're just not getting it. Steroids DO NOT HAVE TO EQUAL BIG BULGING MUSCLES; there's many reasons to take them.

It's all speculation, but I thought it was established that a good 80-85% of baseball players have at least tried steroids.

Once you get past the fact that you don't have to look jacked to be using gear, it's really quite obvious why athletes juice. Their sport is their life. Why wouldn't they want to guarantee themselves of being the best player they can be? Talent is important, but if you take 2 guys with equal talent and give one steroids and the other stays natural, who makes the team?

82 Games is NHL
162 Games is Baseball (crazy amount of games)....plus spring training which is another 20 games....

still think LJ was the biggest nba pro ever, anthony mason and molone are second, imo

Not sure if I can be totally accurate on other sports but as far as NCAA Football (bigtime d1) i'd have to go with 90%... Its strange though, never mentioned or even hinted towards... Not even best friends discuss it with eachother... Everyone gets it from somewhere else... One of my best friends was a highly recruited linebacker at 240, in 5 months (intense running and football training, by no means bodybuilding) he was 270 and same body fat... 6lbs a month? Thats the story on most college athletes...

Hey, I know Ronnie Coleman! He works out at my gym, and I think he's all natural. That's what he told me anyway, LOL.
Actually, I think it would be more like you workout at HIS gym :)

Did you miss my initial post that said I grew up with him playing AA youth bball. Now see him at the gym 1-2x a week.....trust me, he does not w/o for 6 hours a day......sure he's active, he bikes a ton and probably plays ball 1-2 hours/day.....all jumpers, free throws, etc with two coaches rebounding for him...he's got a great work ethic, but incredible genes.
thats impressive that you get to workout in the gym with lebron, cause his facility is in the cav's stadium. it is one of five stadiums with a 300 million dollar workout facility. so please don't tell me lebron rolls into you gym and hangs with the fellas. oh yeah and the guy has his own gym that rivals any club or gym in his own house. 90 mill buys you a lot.

Hahaha he sees Lebron at the gym 1-2x a week? You expect me to believe that "gods gift to basketball" works out at ur local gym?

tennis players taking juice, well that's one i haven't heard of yet anyway. perhaps i never suspected any tennis players take it because few have large and muscular physiques.
