Mysterious Bruising Out of Nowhere

This has happened to me a handfull of times. And no it has no correlation to where I'm injecting. Anyway, for example, my right shoulder has almost completely turned black and blue out of no where, didn't fall over on it, didn't get in a fight, didn't inject in it recently. And the bruise has no pain whatsoever??? It completely baffles me and I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else. It only happens to me while I'm ON too. So, I know it is related to gear in SOME way. Just don't know what way. I have increased my dosages each cycle, so is it high blood pressure, blood vessels breaking as a result? Like I said, this has happened in my delt, well both delts, forearm, bi's and tri's. Each occuring at their own time, never two bruises at the same time.

go to your doctor and get a CBC. You need to check you platelet counts and your BP. Whats your current cycle - high on androgens?? Go to the doc and get tested. This can also occur as a result of kidney or liver toxicity. Go to the doctor - get my point????

no should I?

I would...:o

I have dated a couple of girls who were Anemic and they would bruisie VERY EASILY...I think what it was is that the blood is deficient in iron and therefore doesnt coagulate very well (resulting in some nasty bruises from THE VERY slightest injuries :()

not too bad. go to the doc and get some blood work, you really need to find out whats going on. just tell the receptionist you have spontaneous bruising and they'll fit you right in. good luck and keep us posted.

I'm anemic and what's strange is that you said you get these bruises only when you're on a cycle and your whole shoulder turned completly black and blue? If you're anemic, you fatigue very easily, you're pale, you bruise, you get tired for no reason, and sometimes get lethargic. But never has a large section of my shoulder turned completly black and blue. Also, this doesn't happen when you're off a cycle. Not trying to alarm you, but I would explain it to a doctor. For some reason your capillaries are randomly collapsing or breaking while on a cycle. Sounds like a sort of reaction you're having. If you had a hemoglobin deficiency, you would have had it since childhood. What gear are you taking now, and is it the same gear during other incidents of bruising?

Yes I've stacked these before...And my first cycle was test only...seems like I can even remeber back then getting a bruise in a weird place too...

When you go to the DR. for blood work...what exactly do I want to get checked out? I want to know everything..from all levels

Also what is CBC...I was told to get this tested

CBC is Complete Blood Count testing as is done when you get tested for HIV/AIDS. http://www.aidsmeds.com/lessons/CBCpopup.htm
That link shows you the breakdown. As far as the Dr. goes, I don't know if I would tell him that you're using gear right off the bat because he might just say " Well that's the problem! Stop using it now! Here's your lollipop, now get the fk out of my office meathead!" lol
Just tell him it appeared without injury numerous times and you're worried. Get the cbc, which might cost you $30 from your insurance company, and se what he says after.

One more Q for anyone really...do you have to see and endocronologist to get these tests done? Or can you just walk into a clinic and ask for them. Will they receive them with you telling you what the results mean?

If your dr. is cool I would just ask for a blood test after PCT and tell him you just finished a cycle because you want to know if your test levels are back to normal. I would just find out what's going on with the bruising first. That's more of a mystery.

Depends on your insurance. Do you need a referral, or not for a specialist? Most specialists don't take patients without being checked out by a general practitioner because he doesn't know what your problem may be. That's where the Fam. Dr comes in. Then he sends you off if you want more specific info or not satisfied with the answer. Me wants more k...the other kind. lol jk it's getting late.

haha. pass that shit around like it's a bong. Anyway, get your bruise checked out first. This dude I knew took dura-test and he got huge black and purple cysts all over his face and body. He turned in the fkn Elephant Man. All deformed looking. Girls were almost vomiting when they saw him. It was disturbing. I don't think it's an inflammatory response your having but something else is going on. You have nothing to lose to get checked out.

Elephant man, lol. No its going away Day by day by day by day...I got ALL my blood work done today, eager to get it back

I dont know if this is really relevant, but I in all the older, and newer bodybuilders offseason, they ALWAYS have serious bruising on their lower legs and forearms. I have no idea why, and I cant even speculate. I know im not the only one to notice this....

are you taking any blooad-thinners (ie, fish oil, gingko biloba, vinpocetine, aspirin, prescrition anti-coagulant medications (coumadin, etc))?

sometimes heavy metals tissue accumulation or vit-b complex deficiency is also implicated increased susceptibility to bruising.

Detroit...
From my understanding shoulders are a place with low blood flow, which is why shoulder injury takes a long time to heal. Of course blood vessels would go from your heart to shoulder and down your arm so.

Nicotine would create new blood vessels via angiogenesis http://www.angio.org/understanding/understanding.html
This could also increase blood flow to the brain which would be a big help in your case....

so what is the conclusion here...did u see a doc yet or what...what did he say

yea i talked to the doc when i went to get blood testing post cycle, this bruising only occurs when ON, he doesn't know I take the stuff and i wasn't going to tell him. Aspirin will be my next shot at preventing this.

bicepts101 said:

no, if I told him i was on gear Im sure he'd know.
I started taking aspirin yesterday and this morning the bruise already looks better, so hopefully that is the cure for now. Also i'm putting the most oil in me that I've ever have.

bro, i understand that part. what he say about the bruising? regarles if u are on gear, im sure he said something

are you sure what you are shooting is clean and not mixed in a basement etc?

Reminds me of a story, id get the stuff checked

he asked me how long it'd been there. I told him a couple weeks, and then it goes away after a few weeks, which is what it really does. It goes away when OFF. He didn't think much of it at all 101

detroit maybe you should just be open with your doctor so he can help you. remember he works for you and not there to judge your AAS you or psychoanalyze your reason for using.

i had a checkup in feb of this year at the end of 15 week cycle of tren/test/eq. i posted about this a while back but my bloodwork was way abnormal. i could not explain this away to my doc so i just told him the truth.

he was completely calm and professional about it. he advised against AAS use and admitted he did not know much about them. he recommened we redo my bloodwork four weeks later. i agreeed and everything was back to normal.

trust your doctor detroit. if you do "confess" your steroid use and he reacts in a way you don't like find another one. he needs YOUR business, like any other businessman.
