As some might know besides Needto. I had a fucker hyjack my website. He was actually the one who was to be working on it. So I had to improvise and upload a temp site for the time being.

My question is. Is there antone who is experienced with the DREAMWEAVER program? Is it very difficult?

Dreamweaver can help, but you would still need to know a little html and css.

I use DW but code by hand so I'm not too sure about all the built in functions....lol.
You could always purchase a template and insert your own info.

not me, sorry.

I learned to use Dreamweaver on my own on one Saturday. It is really nothing. If you are used to any other WYSIWYG interface.

If you have a template, you simply open that template, add/change whatever data/text you wish and then resave with new name.

Open Template > Modify> Save As NewName
Open Same Template As Before > Modify > Save As NewName

I will be more than glad to help you if you wish.

Worst idea ever. Unless you want a generic unoriginal site design that is available to anyone else to purchase.

You ree tard. You buy the template and then you MODIFY it with your images and styles. Do you enjoy writing 5,000 lines of javascript and css code from scratch every time u start a site? I bet you do, you sicko.

If you hired me as a programmer i'd love to bill you 200 hours for recreating everytihng. goldmine!!

The templates are the same. You might plug in your text and images, but the basic structure and visual design is going to be the same. Unless you shell out 10X-100x the cost of the download and purchase the rights to that template. Which only means you will be the last person to download it. Doesn't affect the number of people that downloaded it prior to you becoming the "exclusive owner" of it. Oh wait... they call it "buyout"

If a 'one of a kind' look is required then a template may not be in your best interest. BUT, if your goal is mainly to get your products/info out there....no reason not to use a template.

Lots of pros use dreamweaver...they just don't use it as a wysiwyg editor and stay the heck away from spry crap. It's great for organizational purposes and for creating site wide changes. All my sites are linked to DW and can be called up with a couple clicks.

I use other editors but DW is one of the more robust so it suits my purposes fine. It also easier to bring in photoshop, illustrator, flash files etc...

It even has pre-written code for database noobs to create their own DB functionality without having to know much code.

Live View is a nice feature to have as well.

If you don't know any html or css, I would suggest using a pre-made template and following the instructions they give for altering the look of the site and adding your content.

I have to admit. This has become the absolute biggest pain in my ass. Even down to all the web designers locally here. Nobody answers their fuckin phone. People steal your shit and you just can't get anything done. I have never seen such.

Oh I have some help. It's just around me locally. I don't know if the economy has put a hurt on that business near me but I was trying to make calls to ask assistance on a few things. Seems everyone is outta business.
I'm going with anothe domain and host site. The current one isn't user friendly.
But I think we have things figured out now thanks.
