My trainer got fired!

I paid $350 in advance for 12 sessions and had done 6 with her. I came in today and the assistant manager pulled me to the side and asked if I had a training session with "D" today. I can usually get a good read on people in person and could tell something major had happened. I asked where she was and they were beating around the bush and the owner said, "I will train you today." I said, "I can just reschedule with D" which forced him to admit D was fired. Evidently she was not logging clients into the system and pocketing all the money for herself instead of splitting it with the gym.

Anyway, the owner made good on the deal I had with D and is training me himself for the balance of my 12 lessons. He KILLED me today with NO WEIGHTS at all, just jump squats, mountain climbers, dips, push ups etc, etc. Fiance is pissed at me for having a male trainer. Truthfully, I haven't an iota's interest in boinking a trainer. I want to get in shape. He shouldn't worry about it.

Anyone else ever have their trainer get fired?
 
If it makes you feel any better, her training wasn't helping you any.

lol...I was straining like I was going to give birth by the end of the session. If he was remotely attracted to me before, I guarantee he isn't now. I had sweat dripping off my nose...lol.

well I guess I got lucky in Lumberg then. He's so much more logical than the average person. He'd never in a million years get jealous over something irrelevant. I think it's partly due to intelligence, common sense, security within himself and trust in our relationship.

dullboy wouldn't want you working with a male trainer, either.

dullboy never had a trainer get fired, but his old trainer used to beat up all the other trainers in gym on a fairly regular basis.

damn, give me a break. I was stuck behind a desk for 6 years. ;-)

She and I were doing light weights, high reps for example, 25lb plates for 3 sets of 25 for squats. She would do my full body in one hour. He KILLED me in a half an hour of plyometrics...lol. go figure. I'm a wimp. I'm joining wimps anonymous to try to kick the vice. ;-)

If a girl mentions sexuality, then your 18 year old mind can't handle it. Never have I offered to do anything or hinted I would do anything to anyone other than my fiance since he and I have been together.

Now, if a girl wants an opinion about female ejaculation, and I respond with some info about human sexuality, you should just sit and read it. That stuff is valuable info that you may appreciate knowing one day when you are with someone special.

That's awesome - Jealousy sucks - I am not a jealous guy and I am sure my wife would agree with that statement - but I would have a small issues with it. Just don't want some dude's hands all over my wife.

Jealousy is a normal human emotion, everyone goes through it during a relationship. The key is not to let it control your emotions. The people you need to worry about in a relationship are the ones who tell you they don't get jealous. They either don't care to begin with, or they are trying to hide that they have a jealous streak a mile wide.

True, we had a discussion the other night about his jealousy. It was pretty light-hearted. He said that he is more jealous with me than he has been in the past. Honestly, though, he doesn't really try to control what I do, much. So, he is okay.

I am my own trainer. I fired myself so often it's rediculous. But I have lots of scandalous dirt on me, so I have to keep rehiring myself.
 
I've been fired from a gym when one of my clients decided due to health issues he wasn't going to lift weights anymore and cancelled his membership and then decided he wanted me to train him (and his wife) at home doing yoga and stretching and power walking. Gym owner got really pissed and told me I had to still give them a cut even though they weren't providing anything anymore. Because they had "found" that client for me. Never mind I'd been training him for three years and he never stepped foot in the place except to see me. I told him where to go so he fired me out of spite.

So I took all my clients with me. I figure they lost about $30k in revenue last year because of that little boo boo. I still have people call me from that gym to PT them at home because they can't stand the owner or the other trainers. I make 15k a year off of that couple alone so it was definitely worth it.

And yes, I have dated and slept with clients before, and yes one of them was married. It is ridiculously easy to seduce lonely women when they have that much trust placed in you and you get to put your hands all over them a couple of times a week and listen to them bitch about their husbands.
