My summer routine, please critique

I'll be playin basketball in a league on Mondays and Wednesdays during the summer which only leaves me with a few days to train, so I thought I would do this:
Thursday or Friday: ME Bench Day
Thursday, Friday, or Saturday: Cleans and Squats
Tuesday: DE Bench Day

So if I do ME on thursday I would do cleans and squats on Fri.
If ME was on Fri. then I would do cleans and squats on thurs. or sat.

What do you guys think? Is this the best schedule?
 
Just my 2 bit's worth but, go to www.biggerfasterstronger.com and buy the Program book. In there you will find everything you need to know about working out for your sport. From Speed and agility to power and strength. Even increase your verticle jump. Just to let you know, when I was on the program my weight max's on my core lift's went up 25 to 50 pounds depending on the lift ever 2 mo. hope this helps. Saint7
 
Tue : Speed Bench
Thu: ME SQ/DL
Sat: ME Bench
Sun: Speed Squat
 
I wouldnt think that you would be too sore from speed squats but everyone is different.

Like solid said...we all have different levels of conditioning...but I wouldn't think that you would be too sore from them.
 
OK thanks, one more question: I really want to include some power cleans, overhead squats, and snatches on some day just because I think it would help my overall athletic ability. Is there anyway I could fit it into the schedule?

Overhead squats might be best done on ME Days following a good morning or a pull.....you dont want to follow a squat with a squat.

Power Cleans and Snatches could be best done as the second exercise on Speed Squat day. Or perhaps as the second movement on ME day when you do a type of Squat for your ME work...such as a low box squat.
