My Quest to COMPETE - BEAT THE DISEASE!

do me a favor and manupliate my diet for me on off days...obviously I dont want the dextrose or pw rice cakes/krispiises.....First two meals were identical so fat, but I just cut my 8oz sweet potatoe in half and pitched the other half...see my problem...I am a basketcase......I'm moving backwards again........
 
The only thing I'd bother changing is this.....I'd bag the Gatorade at 6:15, but take the shake still ......and at 7:15, I'd use sweet potatoes or brown rice or oats or corn meal or something like that as the carb source....thats ALL I'd change though.

Don't cut the yams in half or the oats or anything......get those cals in and get ready to lift tomorrow.

You can do this brother, you already turned that corner......your mind is playing games wih you, be rational and don't let it win.
 
I really like BiggT's answer in post 312. You do not really have to make it much harder than that. I'd say that your biggest obsticle is still overcoming your fear of becomming fat, especially around the abs region. You have come a long way though, and let me tell you, you are really doing an awesome job. The psychological part is the hardest thing there is in your way of reaching your goal. You are gonna feel so much better and healthier once you achieve your goal. Just remember it will take some time. Really, look back just a month ago, and you will see what progress you have made in this short time.

You may not agree with me in saying this, but you have been suffering from Anorexia my man. I know that you were eating at times, but I think you and I both know that in order to lose a 100-lbs over such a short time, you were in a serious caloric deficit as well as over training mode. All the signs are/were present. I am happy to see that you have chosen a safer and healthier route to live. It may seem like hell now, but when it is all done, it will pay off. You are showing a positive influence to others that frequent this board and may be suffering the same condition. This/you will be something/somebody that they will be able to look up to and tell themselves that they can in fact change as well.

Now, is there any way you can ditch the cardio for at least a week like the gentleman above mentioned?

Also, are you taking any pics along the way? This might be beneficial is future assessment.

I dont truly see a problem with 20 minutes of am cardio.............its a stretch and I will feel like hell all day if I dont do it.........

My carbs werevery low yesterday, but I am finding I am wakling up at 2 am and eating hard.....its weird.....never did that before and not sure I know what I'm doing,,,,last night I had a chicken breast and some casein blend at 2am and dont remember it.......the night before that it was flank steak,,,,,,,,glad I dont keep any shit in the house!!!

I dont know if Ill hit deads today or tomorrow....I might need to fuel up today, swap tomarrows arms for today and crank out deads when I am good and rested tomorrow....thoughts?

are you saying you don't feel rested enough today?
the reason i ask is because yesterday, you had an off day if i'm not mistaken. today, if you do arms, knowing you, you WILL do some cardio which will prevent you from being fresh tomorrow for deads. so i'd rather do the deads today and arms tomorrow... once you hit the gym and deadlift the lighter weights, you'll feel good to do your heavy weights (245?)
 
255 today and I didnt sleep well......it'll be a struggle and truly hell.......and to be honest, if I miss it, I dont know how I will cope......
 
Jeff, I don't want to make assumptions that are inaccurate because you are the only one who truly knows how you feel today......but.....don't let heavy DL day mind fuck you....eat well today, drink some strong coffee, and say 'fuck you' to that little voice in your head, and then go own 255 and move on to bigger and better things.
