My new kitty

heheh - i do the same with my catnip as far as storage goes. i assume by "yours truly" you mean that you were rolling around on your floor in it? you really should find a better place to keep it - maybe at a nearby relative's place or something. i find myself rolling around in it at least once a week but fortunately have enough handle on the situation to know when to say when.

i bought a new scratching post this weekend because the old one was ripped to shreds. the cat i've been posting pics of has no front claw, but my younger one does. i sprinkled catnip on the new scratching post and the younger one immediately began rolling around on it and doing the rabbit kicking thing on it while spinning around the post in a circle. it looked like a sit-n-spin. big spaz

my cat gets in boxes like that....as soon as you put a box on the floor, he's in it....lol

What's with cat and boxes?!? I thought my cat was weird for doing that, now I feel better!

My girfriend just got a a petsmart cat. It is a cute cat. My russian blur growls at it. My russian is 17 pounds and the new cat is under 4 pounds. I hope they get along. Sorry about your cat velvette.

I have two cats, ages 9 and 13. In spite of living together for nine years now, they still barely tolerate each other, and have at best a sort of uneasy truce. I think a lot of that hostility is just play, though, since they never puff their tails up when they fight. They never lay down together or cuddle or groom each other.

I blame it all on the 13-year-old female, who was terrible when I brought the other one home as a kitten.

It's all good entertainment though.

Cool.

Tonight's kitty update.

I pan seared salmon tonight and set of the smoke detector (this thing is waaaaay too sensitive and too close to the oven) not once but three times.

Kitty's still under the sofa.

:worried:

He's just waiting for the salmon to hit the floor. :chomp: :kitty:
