My love affair with my NOMAD Jukebox

6 gig hard drive and a hella software all in a package the size of a CD player. This has got to be the coolest thing ever.

I bought a tape adapter which i use to connect is to my home system and my car, too. has surround sound and a microphone jack.

About the Nomad, I heard if you shake it too much it'll get all fucked up. basically it's a hard drive inside the MP3 player, and hard drives get fucked up when you move them around a lot. If you don't believe me have your home computer defrag the hard disk and shake it around for a while.

I got one too, It's pretty cool but not worth the money I spent on it when it first came out.

it kicks ass! I bought the 20gb version for about 300 bucks and no longer have a single cd cluttering at home or in the car. It never skips, shakes and it is very rugged. Fell a couple of times and still intact.

If you're going to use it for the car, it is great but sometimes distracting while driving to change the tune or see the track id.

There are two other "on dash" systems available that are costly but make the whole mobile mp3 experience worthwile.
