well you have to keep in mind the 'people's sport' over here is football, or soccer as you ppl call it. so not a lot of people lift. for years i was the only dude that lifted (that i knew of) in my neighbourhood.
americans getting into lifting is almost a given, what with football and all.
and remember those kids are just that, kids. remember what y'all looked like when you were 17 or whatever.
i'm done being serious now so resume the flaming if you will.
