my flax oil says it will last 3 months (til oct), but...

I've always heard you have to use flax oil in 30 days for it to not go bad, was this just a myth?

As a general rule, it doesn't keep for months on end, etc., but yah 30 days? That's bunk....just go by the smell - you'll know when that stuff has gone south!! It smells reallly, reallly, horrible when it turns.

Store it in the fridge, in a dark container (if not already) and it should last for more than a month

Good = slight nutty taste/smell

Bad = taste/smell
