That a nice loooking tank, i used to work at a pet store, I would more than happy to give advice or anwser questions.

nice tank warik...it seems all my friends are getting into them...we were at this baller's house this other day who had a 300 gallon saltwater...it had some crazy coral in it...he said it was so tricky to maintain it all..the coral needs a current running through it to stimulate it...so there was this oscillating jet pushing water all around..he had it built into a wall so that you could see both sides...you went into this closet door to work on it...i was impressed...good luck...i like ropefish...

Here is my 200 gallon reef:

I have 880watts of VHO, 1200watts of Metal Halide (Iwasaki 6500K), Berlin ProXL skimmer, Magdrive pumps, Zoomed powerheads.

I have a 180 lbs of live rock and set it up a fish only at first.

After Christmas, I came home to find everything dead since the person who was taking care of it neglected it.

I have since stacked it with corals, but I will post those pics later on.

Get some real plants, they will provide your fish with oxygen and get rid of carbondioxide buildup. If you have sand at the bottom you just stick em in there.

I think freshwater tanks are great..

We have one too..
Did you know they have small frogs that
you can get to go into an aquarium.

I love frogs!! :)

Enjoy your tank..

Hey I just added another 14 fish to my 60 gallon tank for community fish that I set up a month ago. First fish I have added since the second week I had it. Got a Bala Shark, 7 guppies, 2 scissor tails, 2 Blue Dwarf Gourami's, a pleco, and a clown loach. What fish are you going to cycle with? I used Marble Mollies, Red eye tetras, Red swordtails.

The 55 gallon has been sitting for 3 weeks without fish or anything other than undergravel filter and two powerheads. It is going to be my cichlid tank.

Warik you have a lot of stuff in there right now. Hide those air hoses and tubes.

It is tall but it is not thick/wide. I like it because it somewhat covers up the plastic tube on the side that leads to the undergravel filter. Also, it's directly in front of the hanging power filter, so the plant sort of waves around due to the current up there.

Can't wait to get my fishies. Going to get some Rosey barbs to start, then some X-Ray tetras and buenos aires barbs. Dunno what to get after that, but in the end I will have about 18-20 little guys and a huge pleco eating up all the mess they make.

Huge plecos are lazy fucks. Better off with a couple little fellows and watch them grow to the appropriate size.

That's what I'm going to do. I'm going to get 1 small common pleco and let him grow into my algae monster. They sell the large ones at the pet shop for like $15... crazy. I'd rather just grow my own.
