My First Stick, by Wayneboard1

AHHH, love the feeling of EQ. Dude, start taking some caffiene(if you don't already) before you workout. Not only will it stimulate but if you feel you are starting to eat too much it will curb some cravings. Another thing, make clean and healthy foods easily assessible all day long to eliminate any possible cheating. :Chef: :Chef:

Yeah I do too much caffine probably. I get a 4-5 shot espresso drink each morning with some sugar free carmel flavoring to get me going, and sometimes a sugar free red bull halfway thru the day and I can STILL take a long nap. LOL I think it's more habit than help anymore. I cleaned out my fridge weeks ago of the few remaining cheat items and have tried to have fruit be my dessert. SO far it is ok, but not near as tasty as some other items. I am going to go have some protein and mix some of that semenex into it. You guys ever tried that crap? LOL I thought it was a joke until I tried it. WOW what a good response.

SEMENEX...hahaha...supposedly it makes your man milk taste sweet. You must have big plans with the ol' lady tonight!! It has a ton of aminos in it.
GOOD LUCK WITH THAT, Broham!!! :Chef:

I think an off day is very important mentally. I know that after a leg day my workout the next day will be kind of sluggish because I will be systemically fatigued. A day off give your mind a little time to work up some excitement for the gym again, you just can't wait to tear it up. Feelling rested is so much a mental thing.

same diet? Thats my prob.....

Jkurz, are you saying that you are in the same rut because your diet has become routine. Take a break, it will be beneficial mentally and physically. Unless you are doing a show or peaking for something there is no reason to be too regimented. Break up the monotony, get your metabolism stoked up again. It will revitalize your mind and recharge your body!

I think a flaw in my system is I am so worried about getting any fat build up on this cycle that I may be too regimented. I am just getting good fat, and maybe not enough. I am trying to take chefbone(er)s advice and take my measl with me to ensure I eat better but who knows, my job is an odd one and changes from one minute to the next. I always function better on a set M-F 9-5 kinda thing. Much easier and beneficial to me and my body. Oh well, ADAPT ADAPT ADAPT.

You will find what works for you, that's part of the fun. We are all different. Unfortunately, our lives are sometimes throwing us curveballs. Just gotta go with the flow and do your best. Worrying about it is the worst thing you could do.

Yeah schedules can make a serious diff. During the school year I'm a college student, but summer I have to work full time. I seem to have a lot more success in the school year when I can eat and train at will instead of like this slave to the schedule crap!
