The right relationship can be very beneficial. I say date other men but just weed out the assholes.

We don't live in Dallas. We live in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in the suburbs. The people here are VERY NICE.

I do agree though that there is a pretentiousness in Dallas that is pretty much the worst I have seen. Though, admittedly I've not bee to L.A. So I could be wrong.

I completely get the gist of the long-distance/half-relationship thing. BELIEVE ME... but even with one of those if you use different criteria to choose who you will spend your free time with you will find that search to be much more pleasurable.

No, he didn't take me out, AT ALL, which makes me think he was hiding me. We won't go there, though. He had to go to his daughter's b-day party one day and made me and devin go to the mall for HOURS. He evidently didn't want me in his house alone. ???
