my beginner pics

What you should do is get a piece of paper and write down you goals. Then over the next week write down everything you eat and when you eat it. Also post what you did each day for a workout. Do that and post your stats. You will be amazed with the input you will get by providing that much information. If you do it and then follow the recomendations not only will you have abs but you will grow faster too. There is a lot of knowledge on this board. Tap into it and use it to your advantage. The more info you supply the better results you will get!

when i was in my 20s and just getting into working out i thought running would give me abs too. running is not a good exercise if you are bodybuilding as it will give you a too flat and skinny look if you over do it. plus running is so goddamn boring.

very low body fat is a must for abs, some ab exercises of course, and genetics play a key role. see my avatar. :o even guys with low body fat and who do endless ab exercises may not develop a washboard look if there abdomen muscles are not sort of forward on your stomach. (sorry, couldn't word this very well).

cardio is important for many reasons but does not have to be such a goddamn chore like the treadmill, or running! why not participate in a sport that involves a lot of cardio and is fun? like basketball, surfing, tennis.

jay looks like your main issue is diet. you look and sound really young so probably dont understand how important this is. you look a little soft. try reading up on good foods for bodybuilding. check the diet board on EF. good luck.

i would say u look soft like ???, not much under the skin type of thing, what i would do if i were in ur shoes to get started buy some protien powder.. and get a hard workout program, nothing tht u would find easy, so if ur not being sick after words ur not working out ( just jokeing) but try and push urself, use heavyer weights and push urself.when i started i was sick a few times probs because i was doing a crazy abs work out every day. but yeah if u wont a program just ask us here . good luck

soft like a little fat around the stomach area. good diet should make a major difference. shouldnt be all that hard as obviously the kid is not fat and at his age has no idea how to eat properly.
 
ur right ill admit it i dont know how to eat properly n i get confused cuz people say ill regret doin the diet cuz ill have abs but ill look really skinny and i want to get bigger i feel weak when i bench 70 lbs i can do it just my arms shake for usm reason wen i go in the up position
