My Ass Hurts

And it's from laying a 37'x 25' laminate floor, NOT a 25 x 25.

All in all it took me about ten hours, which I thought was very fast. Even built up a threshold between two uneven floors.

Now all I need is some more muscle mass on my ass so the next time I sit on concrete floors for a half day my butt bones won't hurt.:D

I am going to have my kitchen tiled; I did my bathroom but not perfect.

Nice. I think I will try a small, squarish foyer for my first tiling job, though.:D I think you're wise to contract the kitchen out. That's usually a big job...sometimes with a complicated floor plan.

The important question is: did you get your computer yet?

Yep:D

I haven't hooked it up yet and we had to restore it to the original factory configurations though. My nephews had loaded a ton of crap onto it, along with tons of spyware, etc. LOL

I need my floor done to. Are you for hire?

LOL. Although I was thinking of starting a little side business laying just that type of flooring. But the laminate really should have at least two people, one to place the panel and the other to keep the *line* buckled into the preceeding line. Most of my time was spent making sure each panel stayed clipped in.

Ya I can do that.

I worked as a housekeeper and a nursing assistant before, but I have to say that this work is far more strenuous and something I wouldn't want to do everyday. So kudos to the construction laborers.

Awesome, nothing better than being handy, plus the feeling of accomplishment is always nice.

Also I don't think I needed help to think about your ass, but it helps. :p

Cheers,

Nice work. I get to tear up carpet and lay a laminate floor in my living/dining room when I get back from Mexico. Haven't decided about the 2 steps, Though I am thinking tile and not laminate for them.

Got lots of projects after that, want to come help?

Thanky sir! Ugh, i hate ripping up carpet. Tile would be nice and cool if you live in a warm environment.:)Sure, i'll give you a hand, I love learning new home improvement skillz.
