Morgan Freeman: Black History Month is ridiculous.

Just checking in again.

Strongly Agreed. I would state some points in this thread, but I have a feeling I will be "questioned". Besides, everything I would say has been covered.

I just ate three Oreo ice cream sandwiches.

They were tasty.

Oh the irony. Face it, everyone here knows just how completely retarded you are.

Its really sad in this day and age to see someone still attempt to define themselves by the color of their skin. This type of attitude only leads to a live directed by an entitlement mentality...making excuses for all of your own failures in life, pinning the blame on whitey.

Its too bad more people cant live in the 21st century.

The only thing that needs facing is your posts and how they are a waste of bandwidth... They need to stop you from posting al together. Anyway If you feel that you are not progressing in life , don't point to a person of color and say he's progressing because of affirmative action. I'm tired of these right winged people who are just inept to begin with talk about people progressing because of affirmative action. Face it , if you had access to affirmative action , it wouldn't help you

Youve got to be kidding. With the raging political correctness that infested this countries educational system for the last 40 years, its hard to find public school districts that havent overemphasized black history.

Bullshit...

We can talk about political correctness until we're blue in the face. "black" history is NOT being taught in the classrooms... Period

Actually, I have never once blamed one of my "failures" on someone else based on the color of their skin. You seem to do it constantly.

And have two careers, one of them under a company I started myself. LOL I doubt any illegal immigrants could do 1/100th of what I do for a living.

Keep answering those phones.

By the way, all affirmative action does is basically send the message that minorities arent equipped enough to get a job on their own, and that they need government assistance.

Of course, its not surprising that someone like you and all the other wastes of oxygen would support such a theme.

Whats funny is that you are going to die fighting against an injustice that hasnt made a substantial impact in over 40 years. In other words, your entire life is a waste of time.

which classrooms? I have 4 children in school, from kindergarten through 10th grade, and all of their texts are completely DOMINATED by "minorities", not just blacks.

Even the names of the hypothetical people in math problems has changed.

I don't see any "John has 7 apples, if he gives 3 to Jack, how many does he have left?"

It's not "Tamiqua has 7 apples, if she gives Jose 3, how many does she have left"

Heck, I know more about black history now than I did when I was in school 20 years ago. There has been a HUGE shift, to say the least.

But this is not what you want to hear, because it is far easier to be a victim than a realist.

As for affirmative action, it is

RAY - SIST!

racist.

Giving/losing a job based on the color of your skin is PREJUDICIAL, period, end of story.

There really is nothing to discuss. If you are pro-affirmative action, then that means you are NOT anti-prejudice, you are merely anti-prejudice when it doesn't benefit you.

Enjoy your "life" as a victim. I hope you find it vacuously unfulfilling.

Thanks for speaking out. As more and more Americans such as yourself do so we will be able to rid the US of horrid, racist affirmative action programs.

Here is a link to a fight going on in Michigan. An anti-affirmative action group has collected enough signatures to place an initiative on the 2006 november ballot that would eliminate ALL racial preferences of any kind in the state. Well the 'commission' that is responsible for certifing the inititive refused to do so and were ordered by the courts to comply with the law and p[lace the initiative on the ballot.

Instead, busses of black school children were sent to the commission meeting and used violence and abuse to disrupt the meeting. (makes me wonder, did tax payers money pay to bus the kids there? why weren't they in school? perhaps if they spent as much energy on studying and reading as they do protesting then perhaps they wouldn't need affirmative action afterall!!)
