Mod in question: I found it disrespectful of you to delete and move my posts

So yopu feel that I should have to explaine why I moved a post doing nothing but asking why another post was moved? Especially since the post being complained about wasnt moved by me?

This is the kind of incessant bullshit that has driven all the old vets MODs away, continually having to explain to people why their off topic posts have been moved is bullshit I havent even been a mod that long and im sick of it. Those who continue to post off topic posts and futher post more off topic posts demanding an explanation are being hipocritical at best, especially when they say they have been disrespected yet their post was initially disrespectfull to the whole community.

Not all of the old vets have left, yet. But I dont's see that there would be harm in letting a board member who has been around as long as Frackel, use his own good judgement as to what is topic or not. WTF is off topic anyhow? A joke or story by Victorian Guy, or Frackel that the majority of anabolic board members read and enjoy, but a few puckered ass individuals don't, for fear of cracking a smile. I'll say it's not the off topic threads that are driving vets and newbies alike from this board.

See, thats just the problem. Your saying vets have the right to post off topic stuff but newbies dont? What if the guys isnt a newbie but just new here? We have enough crap going on with selective guidlines that apply to some but not all. And, as you likely didnt read above (and I dont blame ya, I wouldnt come in after the fact and read this whol thread either) its the vets who set the stage for posts by newbies. You guys let off topic chatter go for the vets the newbie will follow suit and then you will all be whining about that. I have had a few posts deleted; I am sure that many people have had a few posts deleted. I am sure that the representatives of EF (mods, Mr Spellwin) have their reasons. It is their board and we are guests of the board. I have never questioned their judgement. That's the way it is guys--posting here is a PRIVILEGE, not a RIGHT.

Zyg where in the name of Crom did I say that vets should be allowed to post anything that they wanted and Newbies be excluded? Please reread my post, besides VG is a newbie. I will also add that I think that you do an excellent job as a mod. I was just putting some thoughts to print.

There are a lot of us that do appreciate the effort you are putting in Zyg, with the # of different mods its never going to be 100% consistent what stays and what gets moved, but we do appreciate the effort to keep the board clean!

I agree that Zyg is one of the best mods on this site. But I don't think this thread was a complete waste. I think through this discussion we found some ideas that would be beneficial to the board. I think Zyg has a great idea of having some sort of drop down menu that specifies why the thread was moved and then it automatically informing the user which mod moved it.

Now we just need to get Chris to implement it.
