Mod in question: I found it disrespectful of you to delete and move my posts

this is what i was complaining about last week when i was the big asshole. guess cuz i got 2500 posts my complaint isn't worth much. shit gets moved......and no reason or mod given.

Hey - There is no reason to turn this into an extensive argument, all I wanted is to have my post moved back to this board so we can hear some stories....I didnt even deny that my other posting asking someone to move it back should have been deleted...but only AFTER my original post was returned or at least with a notification...

Bottom line is, Zyg is the mod...he and the other mods "work" for George.

Having thousands of posts is no more of a cause for respect that having a "band of butler monkeys to carry around all that karma" or whatever you guys strive for. Why dont we all just respect Zyg's decision...thats what he is here for.

First off, does George really exist?? nevermind we don't want to get into that again.

And I wasn't referring to his # of posts = respect as I can't stand the chat boys anymore than the next person. However, frackal has contributed to this board in an insightful manner, thus the due respect. Unlike yourself.

Mvmaxx, I think that is a great idea about that notification telling members when their posts have been deleted...all boards should have it. That way you will know it is me who is fucking with you ever at Musclezine.

I am with Frackal on this...If you look in the Anabolic archives there are already many funniest things youve seen in the gym type threads so why is this different?

Also the posts and people on the anabolic are much sharper and wittyier than the chat and conversation forum...

There are plenty non-anabolic threads on the anabolic forum like training threads, pro bodybuilder gossip etc...

A lot of the vets here recently asked that the mods start keeping the anabolic board a little cleaner, and we promised them our support. This is a pretty piss poor way of showing supper when they are just doing what we asked them to do

As I mentioned, I cant comment on the content of the original thread or why it was moved because I didnt touch it. I did however delete the demand that the original post be moved back. The reason I did not explaine that was because you guys who have been around know what happens, or at least should happen to posts like that so having it deleted shouldnt be a suprise and shouldnt need an explanation.

I futher find it ironic how so many of you "vets" slam newbies for off topic posts or even source posts telling them to "read the rules" etc the whole while ignoring them yourselves because you deem your post count make you above the rules.

Additionally so many people around here fly the respect flag stating they deserve respect of being notified of why their off topic post was moved etc etc. Yet, while demanding respect themselves they seem to never look at how disrespectfull their post as in the first place or their follow up posts demanding explanations etc.

Now as to the idea of labely who moved a post, that would be a great addition, at least then this bullshit could be handled off the board, however im just a mod and that is beyond my control.

Lastly in regard to people saying "there are all sorts of off topic posts here" etc etc etc, there are only so many of us and we cant read all of the posts in every thread. Additionally we each have a slight difference in opinion of what belongs and what doesnt, but I would say for the most part we all try and be reasonable. Lastly, you veteran members, as much if not more so, than us mods set the standard for new members to follow. You sit back and gripe that posts are off topic yet you guys are the way setting the tone of the board and if its ok for you to do it, it must be okay for newbies to do it, yet when the board goes to shit your not willing to take any responsibility for setting the tone and point fingers at George and the MODS.

If its any consolation I likely wouldnt have moved your original thread. It is tireing though to allways have my decisions challanged and futher clutter be created evertime I try and do my job. I often see posts by those who have been around a while comment on the degredation of the board and when I read them I feel as if the blame is being placed on George and the mods. However, if you were to take a step back and look at the big picture the overall impact on new members from mods is minimal compared to that of all ther other members and especially the vets. All I would like to say is next time anyone speaks of respect or contemplates the degridation of the board take a long hard look in the mirror and ask yourself how your posts and attitude affect the MOJORITY and not just a small group of your online friends.

One last comment and im done, when we mods chose to move a post, by default there is a box checked that say "PM author" which I have always assumed to mean an automated PM would be sent to the author notifying them their post had been removed. This was implemented a while ago and I think we all assumed that this was working, if not let me know otherwise so I can bring it to the attention of someone who can possibly fix it.
