LMAO. Anyway yes he was a true music icon. But he had problems. Anyone in their right mind would know that having that many children living with them and sleeping in the same bed with a man at his age should know that nothing good will come of it. I mean my god.
Yes the world lost a true music great and at the same time there are many children who will not need therapy now.

if you say so. perhaps i am confusing you with some other.....gentleman.

does Ebonycurves also not like air conditioning?

LOL. I'm sure she does. Mine went out last summer and I threw up every night from coughing so much. It was awfull. I feel so bad for families with children and don't have air in their homes. If I were very wealthy I would take care of every one I could in that matter.
When it comes to children I have a below zero tolerance to bad things done to children.
Back to the other issue. No one wants to know what I would do if I had my way with people who cause physical or mental harm to children.

perhaps if dial tone used his a/c more he would be in a better mood when posting here? :lmao:

The child molestation charges were "iffy" at best.

However, Michael totally dominated the pop world like no one has before or since. I remember when MC Hammer kept challenging him to a dance contest and Michael just ignored him for months. Hammer went on Arsenio one night and was talking shit about how he wanted Michael to put up his studded glove and have a dance contest with the winner getting the glove.

They let Hammer run off at the mouth for a while and then showed him a taped segment from earlier that day where they asked Michael why he wouldn't accept the challenge. Michael said "There's nothing in it for me. He wants my glove because that is a iconic symbol. It represents change, history and achievement. But what has he got?" Then they showed where the reporter went out and casually asked anyone they came across who would win a dance contest and everyone of them said Michael Jackson. Hammer looked like he was about to cry.

While I don't pretend to know any specifics of either criminal case, I do know he was found not guilty in the 2005 case, and settled out of court with the Chandler family in 1994. No criminal charges were brought by the State of California in the 1994 case.

~If you truly thought your child had been molested, no amount of money should deter you from seeking due justice. (and settling out of court wouldn't prohibit the state from pressing charges if they had substantial evidence).

~Gee, no one has ever, in the history of the world, sought to extort money from wealthy, famous people.

Moon walk
Smooth criminal...and many others.

The first concert I ever attended was the Jacksons Victory Tour in Montreal (my parents took my sister and I). It's funny, on my facebook, my sister mentioned going to that concert...and within a few minutes a lot of people we know chimed in and said that was their first concert too. It seemed that for our age bracket, EVERYONE was a big Michael Jackson fan at that time.

I dont think Michael hurt children. I think he just made himself an easy target for the claims. He was very sensitive and loving, plus, he never really had a childhood(this might be why he did so many child-like things). He had a TON of money and was more comfortable around children than adults.
Anyone saying he doesnt deserve props for his music is just an ass. He was a true artist and I have ALWAYS loved his music.... along with the rest of the world.
On that note, here is my favorite MJ song:

No criminal charges were brought by the State of California in the 1994 case. There is no justice. The justice system is a joke. Sometimes rights are wronged and truth wins out, but not often enough. Too many greedy/incompetent people involved in the process where it gets FUBAR'd along the way. Only ONE PERSON has to *have it in for the accused* or *make a mistake* and the case is now a runaway train = no damnedbody gives a shit.

~If you truly thought your child had been molested, no amount of money should deter you from seeking due justice. (and settling out of court wouldn't prohibit the state from pressing charges if they had substantial evidence). This statement would seem logical. It is. However, it is incorrect. Ellie Nessler wasn't asking for money but she went to prison in the end, didn't she?

My point exactly.

I was never a hyuge MJ fan but I do recognize his talent. Having said that, if he pulled a Phil Spector I don't think so many people would go to bat for him.

Here is a clip of Michael and one of the "little boys" that spent time with him. Gee, he seems to feel just fine about Michael. I see no signs of feeling molested AT ALL.... but maybe thats because this little boy grew up and made his own money instead of needing to lie and sue Michael. btw- it's Usher and if anyone says anything bad about usher, I will prolly be bombing u all year. Jus sayin..

I should have said 'due process' in this context because I was referring to trying a case. Yours, and my perception of what would be anyone's deserved justice (for such crimes) would be relative. In the case of Nessler and her child, I reckon I probably would have comparable rage. BTW, she served 3 years of a ten year sentence, went back to jail on a drug conviction (perhaps a vice which surfaced because of the aformentioned circumstance) and died of breast cancer while incarcerated. Regardless of one's opinion on her vigilantism, her story is an epic tragedy.

I agree 110%.

So many good songs hard to really pick one out of the bunch. IMHO Michael should have stopped after Bad. Everything from the Jackson 5 till Bad was great. Even the some obscure stuff where he was just providing some vocals like that track from Rockwell (he saves the whole song)...

Hai guys...I deleted a bunch of the posts that did not belong on a TRIBUTE THREAD. Take that elsewhere. Consider this a friendly moderator warning.

I used to listen to all of his hits. Though thriller really was not my fav..

Dudes, they were playin his hits all dang day over and over on the television (vh1 I think). Anyways he has a song "in the closet" or something of that nature. Hahahahhahahahhhaha Just thought the title was perfect for him!

Smooth Criminal had the best dance sequence of all time.

Michael Jackson rewrote pop music history more than anyone else.
