He should have been monitored more closely.

You may not know enough but I do and it seems pointless to monitor him more closely after the tumor was discovered at the autopsy, unless you believe in zombies, its hard to justify the government spending.

Looks like the gunman was a Chinese man here on a student visa, so he didn't have a firearm by legal means anyway.

Exactly, cocaine is illegal in every state, must be smuggled into the country,and readily available. Guns are an easy scapegoat as opposed to dysfunctional people.
