Ok folks let's slow down for a minute and use some logic here.

Why would cops rolls on the home of a innocent family? Could it be an incorrect address?

Why would cops shoot a supposedly innocent man 5 dozen times and make absolutely no attempt to conceal it? Could it be the husband also made a mistake? Based on the wife's statements they family mistook the SWAT team for home invaders?

Is an ex-Marine likely to have at least one firearm in the house and be fully prepared to use it if he thought the family was threatened? Yes

What do cops do when they burst into a home they believe to be occupied by one or more badguys and they are confronted with a man in possession of a firearm in the ready position?

They didn't identify and they fired the first shot... the warrant included 3 other addresses. Everything about this was wrong.

I know ALLOT of local cops in this STATE of MD let alone towns that I live and do business in, and I must say most are worthless fucks trying to use the police power to make them feel better about their lives. Maryland has such a high FALSE arrest rate that the state makes you sign a "I will no sue" statement if they decide to drop the charges against you. Its pathetic...Most police are either arrogant fucks or they are just BAD at their jobs. At least all that I have met and delt with.

Unless the 911 tape says "the swat team is about to shoot me" then no indication they thought they were cops.

Any mall ninja can but tacticool gear, operator pants, and a 15$ imitation helmet or the real deal. In an area where drug and human traffickers are rampant, when your own family had recently been home invasion victims, you were woken by your screaming wife... cops is probably the LAST thing on your head. THEN an accidental discharge by the aggressors you'd point a rifle at them too!
