Marine executed by Tuscon SWAT

Sounds like a cover up to me...government sanctioned hit to.cover up some secrets.

No but on the real, some one comes in my house like that with out announcing who they are they are getting shot themselves. Around here home invasions usually turn to murder...women and children. People have gotten away before with shooting the policy cause the idiots preceded to kick doors first before announcing who they were.

Posted with my Droid EO Forum App

pretty sure if an entire swat team bursts in your house guns drawn you aren't gonna have time to do shit, and even if you manage to get a round or two off you're gonna end up fucked up

no stfu.

Ok folks let's slow down for a minute and use some logic here.

Why would cops rolls on the home of a innocent family? Could it be an incorrect address?

Why would cops shoot a supposedly innocent man 5 dozen times and make absolutely no attempt to conceal it? Could it be the husband also made a mistake? Based on the wife's statements they family mistook the SWAT team for home invaders?

Is an ex-Marine likely to have at least one firearm in the house and be fully prepared to use it if he thought the family was threatened? Yes

What do cops do when they burst into a home they believe to be occupied by one or more badguys and they are confronted with a man in possession of a firearm in the ready position?

I think your final paragraph is the important one. What do cops expect when they kick in someone's door without warning? They ASSUME he is a bad guy...last time I checked everyone was innocent until proven guilty? Shouldn't THEY be held to a higher standard than an innocent person having their house violated by the government? Once again...a tragedy based on the government "war on drugs" which is an absolute waste of resources.

Java I do not disagree with anything you're saying but me and you both know orders are orders and military and law enforcement carry out orders Its their jobs. I've done alot of shit I didn't wanna do or felt like was wrong but at the end of the day I plan on going home if you do or not

Well, we were both volunteers...we chose that path in life....knowing the risk and consequences. However, when you kick in someones door in Iraq it's different than kicking in someones door in suburban America. Soldiers and police have different responsibilities and we pay our police a hell of a lot more than our soldiers. I remember when I was being taught the "raid" mission. As light infantry we couldn't take prisoners... operating behind lines...it was generally understood you don't allow surrender unless it was a prisoner grab. You assault through the objective and do a body search. The police are police...not soldiers...

This was another reason I opposed the Iraq war...soldiers don't make good policeman.
