How could your daughter grow to hate you if you fill her mind with happy memories? I think this is in your hands more than you think. If you're stable and good to your daughter, shit will work out for you. And if it doesn't, it was never in your control anyways. Take it from a guy who has never been married OR had kids. I obviously know what I am talking about - the experience alone quite clearly supports that.
