As long as i didn't keep reapplying it to the same spot the rash would be gone within 12 hrs.

After the shower it didn't make the rash worse just that area the skin would dry up.

this sounds like a contact allergy, it is for this reason that the level of linalool is being decreased (its benefit in delivery was minimal and was achievable with lower doses), some allergic reactions are unavoidable. a large portion of the populaton has contact sensitivity and allergies to various dermal agents- reducing the amount of linalool should cut this to less than 1 per thousand (which is less than most skin creams).

it should resolve in a day or two. Be sure to keep hydrated and to not irritate the skin (use an aloe based moisturizer). As with any rash irritating it just makes "encourages" it. (rashes are typically inflammatory reactions)

The rash subsided in about 4 days. I discontinued the AI though. I recently started back up on my feet and haven't see the rash... It didn't hurt but was rather unsightly...

good to hear that it resolved. The final version without linalool should not cause such issues. Though one still has to take care of skin and rotate sites if they dry out.
