Lower back pain :(

i feel like an old ass man.. but i have been doin so much schoolwork hunched over my laptop, that i think it actually fucked my back up. I finally changed positions so that im sitting upright and not just hunched over forward with no support, but i dunno if this shit is just gonna fix itself. Anybody have any advice? Also does anyone know what sort of implications this kind of thing has for lifting? thanks

this stuff is important.

get on the phone with an occupational therapist.

its a tad too detailed to get into, but stuff like podiatray and sitting on the right chair at the right height make a hell of a difference.

also what the fuck is up with setting heatherrae up with evensteve? fucking cheap bastards

a strong lower back helps alot, a good chair, if you keep having pain, I take Naproxin (Alleve) works like a charm for temporary relief.....

long road with back pain. I've finally had to get shots in my spine. Naproxen works well to relieve the pain but is hard on your belly and organs.

ive had back pain for some time now but i attributed 85% of it to being a fatty. the other 15% to poor posture at the computer. i went to PT last summer after seeing the Ortho and that helped some. still have issues getting stiff when Im in the same position for a while. or when lying down flat on my back, sometimes i get stuck lol

i have had lower back pain for the past 10 years
I finally had to go to the doc for some xrays today
I've been trying to ignore it but I cant sit for more than 20 minutes, makes it hard for me to drive i have to keep pulling over to get out and walk for a minute

i dotn know what else to do

i feel your pain

go to the doctor, get an MRI, see a specalist, do thearapy, exercise, later resorts are shots of cortosone, and the absolute last resort is surgery.

A lot of cases it just takes time and rest to get it worked out. I was in extreame pain for 6 months before I decided on getting the shots.
