decrease your mgs every 3 days till zero
the last week or two begin cardio, or endurance training, it helps radically with he ability to hop off with no need to go back.
( ask a doc of course before you do this)

lol when you really get addicted to hydrocodone, oxycodone, hydromorphone etc....... it's a fuckin horror! the brain doesn't know the difference between "brands." it only recognizes opiods. morphine, heroin and lortab are the same to your opiod receptors.
the only reason lortab, vicodin etc.. are schedule 3 is because they're compounded with tylenol, aspirin or ibuprofen. pure hydrocodone is a schedule 2, same as morphine, diluidid and oxycontin.
true opiod addiction is hell on earth. in most cases, contrary to popular belief, you are pretty much doomed. you will sober up for a while, but life will be a series of relapses and with each relapse it gets worse
until eventually you overdose and die.
i always encourage recreational users to quit, but if they wont, i encourage them
to try diluidid and tussinex.
those particular versions will acclerate the "process" and possibly force the
person to get help quicker.
diluidid makes oxy and hydro look like baby aspirin lol.
just my lil ole opinion
