my point is that most the guys you see in london are really skinny and you hardly ever see anyone that looks like they workout. and i think that here in the U.S. there's a statistic that claims: one out of every three men that step foot into a gym have juiced up at some point in their life. Have u ever been to a gym here? There's more guys that look like they workout and are big, not only on the college level but at any chain gym such as bally's, golds, world, that's not even visiting the hardcore gyms.

That has to be one of the funniest things I've ever read on this board. First off, lets comletely ignore that Dorian Yates was the one that changed the standard of pro bodybuilding by being the first true freak. I've also been to the US a ton of times, and have not once seen a dude that was jacked up, but I see guys around here that are huge all the time.

2) yes i have visited several gyms in USA and seen big,small,fat,skinny you name it
3) a trip to one gym in UK and you stereotype the whole country

Lean in London

This is quite an interesting thread. I have been to London and other sections of the UK many times and marveled at how lean and fit the Brits are.

You almost never see an overweight person and I have never seen a fat person. As a group, the Brits look a hell of a lot better than the lard assed crowd we have over here. I live in the rural south, and the Wal Mart looks like an elephant pen.

I think it is in part genetic, but for the most part, they are walkers and eat differently. I think we are verging on being clinical cases when we perceive lean people to be unattractive. The real shakers and movers on our planet have brains, money, power, education and drive. They dont have great bodies.

The women in London are the most beautiful I have ever seen. White skinned (no coarse, thickened tanned skin), lean and urbane.

And, what a tired discussion. Big guys come from all over. Some have to fight genetics harder than others. Many are limited by the availability of facilities.

It ain't like we don't have enough prejudice in the world....now we don't like lean people?

Well, everyone has different tastes. I just happen to favor women in the UK. So, you think the women in London are not as attendant to their bodies as say, the French.

Having traveled fairly extensively myself, I think it is overated as a builder of wisdom and judgement. An acquaintance has 10MM miles on Delta and he not only has bad taste in women, he has not experienced one smidge of personal growth for all his travel.
