makes sense. that probably does alot less damage than binge drinking
i just condense my drinking into a few evenings. i can usually workout the next day w/ no prob and start eating well again, but look in the mirror the next day and feel like crap (probably bloated)

I'm the same way, but my biggest issue for prob the last 4 years has been my hangovers. Out of NOWHERE I all of a sudden get DESTROYED by them. And it's not relegated only to post-binge drinking nights, it's like anything 6 beers or above. I'm talking totally unable to function in any capacity, least of all socially for almost 2 days. There is NOTHING I can do about it either. And I can't sleep when drunk or hungover, so I got that problem too. That's why I all but stopped drinking - I can't afford to lose a day or 2 of me being a fucking retard.

nothin wrong with that. I've been known to wack back a glass of wine a night while working.

But roomie ain't havin a beer a night to relax after a long day.

No job I'd imagine - how is he funding this?

If I got hangovers like that, I'd never drink. At worst I get cotton mouth and lack of appetite, maybe mild lethargy. Once recently I actually had a bad one...headache and all...that was sort of weird. I guess I'm getting to that age.

Correct. He recently got a check for about $20k from an accident years ago. He's my boy, not some random dude, so I hate to see him kind of scumbaggin around. But he's also an adult, so that's cool with me if this is how he chooses to spend his funds. Hopin it doesn't hold him back tho

It came outta left field too. For 23 years or so I'm waking up at 7am after a night of at least a bottle and a 1/2 of Jack chipper and ready to roll.

Now I'm literally in a worse depression than coming off of E.

I always wake up pretty early, too. I used to be wide awake when I woke up after drinking a lot, now it takes me a couple of hours to get my wits about me. No more drinking on work nights, lol.

I think it may be my body saying "Hey fuckface, thanks for drinking a bottle of Jack a night for 3 years straight. Go fuck yourself, I'm shuttin down".

But hey, you're probably right.
