Man...1st could go either way. I really hope Jay wins. He looks great. Trim-In Shape...he also beat Ronnie on the back shots. That's what the score cards said in pre-judging at least.
 
Yea I saw the pre judging pics and I don't give a fuck Jay should win hands down. He has brought the best package I have seen from him onstage and a much improved "from the back" at all angles, hell his glutes are even striated this year... It is Jay's turn no doubt, But I garentee the politics get into this one as always and if it is even (which it shouldn't) I know Ronnie will get the judges nods

another thing. where was Haney. i can understand not putting him on the panel but he wasn't there period. they should of had him present the trophy to ronnie seeing how he tied haney for 8 tonight.

damn jay looked good.. in the pics i saw he beat ronnie in back kinda, but they just have to differently shaped backs, ronnies got more upper traps makes it look so much better, and jays glutes just cant ever compete w/ronnie, but this is def the closet ive ever seen jay come to beating him.. DEFINITLY!! i havent seen any other pics from the show yet.. but if anyone has um post um, id like too..

Ronnie is looking really dry this year especially around the midsection and he has been working his abs all year long.

I still agree that Jay got scammed, I think his physique just looks better than ronnies.
 
Jay's legs and arms are better.

Ronnie has better abs, back and biceps.

Jay's lack of abs i think ruined it for him.

If you watched last night, I think Ronnie showed his true colors of what a Cockiy Bitch he is (coming out in a crown and cape for his routine). Have some respect for the sport. Also showed what a cry baby poor sport he is when he thought he was gonna lose to Gustavo. So tired of his calapsing cry baby shit when he wins. Dont forget to ramble on about Pizzas for an hour during exceptance speach. What a joke. Jay looked better, I think Gustavo had the best all round package. All and all, this Olympia was the poorest run show yet...........
 
I cant believe i'm saying this but jay killed ronnie on legs. BUT, jays's abs looked like shit, and Jay was considered to have good abs. also there is noo way that jay beat ronnie on back, look at that rear lat spread, coleman killed him, no matter the improvement, jay's back is still flat. also you'll notice, in the back double bi, ronnie looks better in the mid section, jay looks blocky and ronnie looks more separated more proportionate, but that may have to do with the fact that he is taller than jay.

Exactly, that was just a bad angle and although i agree that ronnie doesnt have the greatest tris out there they;re still no joke.thats for sure.
 
I agree that Jay's abs just seemed washed out... not sure what happened there. Overall, I think JC simply looked better then Ronnie.
 
Also, look at the most muscular ronnie looks way freakier that jay does, chest is more striated, the rectus femoris looks more defined, and look at jays arms, no wherre as vascular as ronnies. then look at the front lat spread, right off the bat jays abs ruin it, also notice this (its genetic but it still takes away from jays physique) his abdomen is so long that it makes his chest and especially his legs look short, while ronnie has a fairly short abdomen and it makes his chest, arms and legs, most importantly , long which makes him look better and not looking stocky like jay. Arnold had the same thing, a short abdomen and that made his chest look even longr than it was. i could go on but i think thats enough to say that jay did not come as close as people made it out to be. sorry for the rant.

Ditto. No offense to any of the Jay fans but, based purely on the pictures above, Ronnie wins hands down. OK, his tri's aren't quite as big but, everything else is and, he's MUCH harder in the shoulders and down through the bi's. Jay's bi's look like water balloons in comparison.

So - its basically a draw with the posing and Challenge rounds to go...I could see it going either way...imo - Ronnie won on his hams, glutes, arms and most muscular

No, Dexter sat the show out. As did Priest. Dexter is still pissed from 04' when Badell beat him. Priest was mad over contract issues.

Overall...I thought Jay had a more complete package. Trim waist, shoulders were wide as fuck. Ronnie is just a freak. Plain and simple, and that is what won the show. Ya..Jay looked good..but Jay's "look" is not that hard to attain. Ronnie's "look"...well...noone can attain that. Noone can be 290lbs w/schredded glutes.

Could have gone either way. If ya ask me..give it to Jay..Ronnie is a fucking idiot. Jay has more class, and would be better to promote the sport.
 
I was really impressed with Gustavo and Gunter both really brought it this year. I also thought Darrem should have placed A LOT higher.

bro if ure refering to the crown and cape thing, well it is cocky and mekes him look like an asshole. but a lot of elites did this kind of thing in their prime. muhamad ali comes to mind, same as arnold. because when u have a mister olympia with no personality (attitude) then it wont catch that much attention, but when ronnie does some stupid shit like that its funny and it psyches out his competition,PLUS it makes the audience already think whos gonna win. speaking of stupid shit that ronnie does, i liked when he did his posing to "Game Over" last year. its a show...like pro wrestling, when you have underground shows like these u want to do your best to make it go mainstream, and thats why u need a charismatic/cocky guy like ronnie.

I'm referring to the fact that, in general, Ronnie is an idiot. He is not a smart person. He will put anything in his body that Chad Nichols tells him to. He played the "I'm natural" game for way to many years, and I can't respect that. Ronnie can't put one sentence together with out sounding like an idiot, he has multiple kids by mutliple moms. In his videos...it shows him walk'n in his gym..and right on the fucking entrance to his gym, it states that "this is a drug free gym" or something like that. I just can't respect that. His physique is not good for the sport...hence...when people see him...they say..OH MY GOD..THAT LOOKS GROSS! When someone sees someone like Darrem Charles..they say..wow..now that is perfection. Ronnie is soo big..his body is distorted. He is not charismatic what so ever. Arnold was. And he opened up doors for every person who is "pumping iron" in the gym today.

The O isn't even exciting anymore. Seriously. The Arnold Classic the show to be into now IMO. It's more exciting and you never know who's gonna win or what might happen. Unlike the O. I wonder who Cormier pissed off. Too bad Priest did not compete. His conditioning has been so good as of late. So who took 11th on?
 
And...hate to say it, but Ronnie looked in much better shape this year. His belly wasn't hangin in the front row. Jay dropped the ball on abs. That should be one spot you can be sure you can beat Ronnie on. If he had them dialed in, well he still would lost cuz it's fixed, but it would have made more bros think Jay had it. Anyone got a pic of Gustavo?

1. You missed the point. The point was...is that Ronnie claimed to be natural for years. I don't hear Jay running around saying he's natural.

2. You are high if you think Jay was bigger than Ronnie. Hello! Even fuck'n Victor Martinez looked way smaller than Ronnie. Ronnie's quads are fucking rediculous, his chest is, his arms are, his back is. Jay didn't beat him anywhere is size. Alls I said is that Jay is more complete. Ronnie still looked like a pregnant bitch. His physique is not good for the sport. Freaks like him are what make this sport so underground. There's nothing wrong with that..but until we have Mr. O that is the "perfect body"..people will always look down upon our sport. Re-read my post before you flame anyone please.
 
Damn no Chris Cormier in Top Ten?! What the Hell happened? I hate that Priest sat this one out also!

Jay does looks awesome but I think his abs and back was a little behind from the couple pics I saw, but I hope he wins it next year!

My bad i thought you were refering to the whole king thing. but as far as his personal life goes (multiple wives and kids) well thats not a relevant topic when it comes to bbing. same goes for the fact that hes an idiot, again that doesnt matter, im not judging the mans IQ or his married life, im simply judging his physique, thats it. Also of course he'll put in his body whatever nichols tells him to, thats his job, thats why ronnie hired him, coz hes great at creating beasts, and with the results that i've seen i think that ronnie has every reason to let nichols advise him. and if we go with the latter example that "ronnie is an idiot" then what would you have ronnie do? drug himself or hire a guru (a highly respected guru) like nichols to do it for him? I think it's safe to say that i'd trust a steroid guru pick the cycles/drugs as opposed to letting the bber do it himself. And yes people are shocked, some disguisted , by ronnies physique, but those are not bbing fans, those are ppl that bodybuild for fun or to stay healthy, thus i dont expect them to be amazed by ronnies physique. but for the fact that he's on top of the game, shows that hes doing something right. and lets say that ronnie retires, well darrem isnt going to take the spot, jay will or some other freak that resembles the freakiness of ronnies body. so by saying that ronnies physique is ruining the sport...well that wont change when he retires. also what do you mean ronnie is not charismatic, of course he is, just for the mere fact that he came out as "the king" shows his charisma, hes entertaining and fun to watch. to me thats charisma.

Good reply. Alls I'm saying is that there are at least 5 more complete packages that bodybuilding could use to represent the sport. The direction that the sport is going in is not a good one, and it's making it more of a underground subculture.

Ronnie hasn't done anything wrong in my eyes. He's doin his thing. There ARE more charismatic...and more complete bodybuilders..that would do MORE for the sport for all of us. To try and make it more acceptable.

The sport is going in the wrong direction. What happened when guys like Frank Zane won the olympia. Were they're guys bigger. Yes..more complete..NO.

I can agree with that, i guess different people have different views on this topic.

Also i totally agree with you on the list of complete bber, except for cutler, i dont like his physique. Also i think 2 other bber that come to mind with an amazing physique:
Lee priest and my fav. "smaller bber" melvin anthony, his physique and posing is crazy.
