So is firing someone for being late for work all the time. You know, that person that refused the polygraph. I think he was late all the time. Let's forge a writeup. There, all set now.

That's how many employers think.

and there are drugs that can help with or rather hinder your ability to resist.. :chomp:

How about taking a boatload of ludes or barbiturates? Then again, you probably wouldn't care what you said.

However, as mentioned earlier by someone else.. running people through a polygraph for that kind of money is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. Then again, it may be because they know of something else going on too.

Take the test, otherwise you'll probably lose your job by having them make up some bs excuse that is "unrelated" to the polygraph you just declined to take.

Damn bro...didn't think about it that way :worried:

But you're absolutely right.

Employers do stuff like that all the time to protect them. They can't fire someone for their religious beliefs, sexual orientation, etc., but they can either make it difficult to work there, or they can document all kinds of false things to support firing the person. It's hard to prove that the false documents were falsified. It's your word against theirs as many of your coworkers won't risk their jobs to stand up for you.

If that happened to you, would you bother to sue the or prove them wrong?

On what grounds would you sue? What evidence would you have to support your accusations?

You can fail a test but I doubt you will. You must also understand, that these tests are very easy to pass with the correct training.

My point? Start training to pass a lie detector test, start stealing and start giving me some commission, K?

Yea, take some barbiturates, and put antiperspirant all over your body.
