so last week I decided to go swim in the pool at my apt building, when I put my bathing suit on I realized I hadnt shaved my legs in God knows how long, I immediately went to buy a shaver with trimmer (since I didnt even have a decent one despite living here almost 3 months....) and took care of it, do any of you stop doing something when you are single o away from your SO?

Oh hell yeah I don't shave my legs either or my bikini area if no one is seeing it only I know there is bush happening. LOL

Yeah, won't expose areas unshaved now, but have let things go. I even went through a hippy phase in college and let my very long leg hairs grow out. No one hit on me then, not even the hippy dudes that I thought were suppose to appreciate me for my heart and mind. Men are men.

When I stopped that and shaved my legs again my friend was like "Your legs look pretty!" Never going back, but maybe some 5 day stubble.

I'm in a bathing suit in front of people constantly for scuba so letting the legs/girl parts go to hell hasn't even been an option for me in years.

Yes I let things go a bit. It is such a pain in the ass to be a woman sometimes with all the grooming, and if you miss a week of shaving you get looked at by your man like you are carrying a disease.

No way! I can't not shave. I even shave in the winter when all I'm all covered up. lol

my problem is skin... if I shave I cant shave again for about 3-5 days otherwise I'll be cutting hair AND skin and will be red and bumpy and bleedy
If I wax I get ingrown hairs.... my only solution has been epilating.... hurts as hell though... gotta get me a new Braun epilator soon..... hopefully wet and dry so I can use with warm water and minimize pain....

I maintain no matter what - for myself, I guess? Gotta shave always.....I HATE HATE HATE how my legs feel if I don't! LOL!

Ohhhh...hey...NanGiggles.....have you ever tried shaving with hair conditioner? I haven't bought shaving cream in years, because I figured out that shaving with my conditioner is actually FAR less irritating for my skin, and it makes everything super soft......when I would shave with shaving cream, my skin would get really irrirated often. Since I stopped, it never happens anymore....just a thought?

I use conditioner to shave also. Paul mitchel (sp?) Works best. Also try a&d ointment right after. It keeps the irritation down. Use the jel kind with no scent & no extra stuff otherwise u will end up smelling like a baby's ass
