left pec is bigger than right!

yo!

i know i haven't posted this in the right place but i feel i have more in common with fellow roid users that guys who don't use. we are a different breed, we usually eat, sleep and train harder than the average joe in the gym. were bigger and usually have better training regimes as most of us eat, breathe and sleep weight training. so you can see why i ve posted here as opposed to anywhere else where any non user joe can comment when they are are benching 20lbs.

anyway, my left pec is getting bigger than my right, at 1st i thought it was due to muscle surrounding the heart. i use dumbells on the chest aswell as barbell. do you think its just a case of getting on the pec machines and just using my right side for a couple extra reps?

that forum is knowledgeable as we all post a little on each. Could be a shoulder problem limiting gains in which there probably isn't much you can do. stray away from barbells and such that allow you to cheat by compensating with one side more than the other. DB's are great for this.
 
is it really THAT much bigger than the other one?

we are often our own worst critic, noticing and obsessing about stuff the rest of the world doesn't even see.

how about posting a pic and let others weigh in their opinions?

funny, the training forum is probably much more suited for this question but we can only bench 20 pounds so ill leave my knowledge on muscular imbalances out. good luck with that.
 
You may have a mild form of Poland Syndrome or you may have torn your pec at one point and it healed wrong. Try Hammer Machines and sit to your right with your right shoulder against the back and just try developing your right pec.

sorry but i agree!! Just because someone wants to stay natural and not use steroids, it doesn't make them any less dedicated than you are. To the OP- Your opening to your problem was uncalled for and ridiculous, not to mention arrogant. It had no relevance to the rest of your post/problem. A lot of guys on this board don't use steroids, but we don't degrade you guys for using steroids to add to the benefit of your training. This guy is right-- just because you take steroids, it doesn't mean you know more about training than non-users do. After all, a bunch of non-steroid users are answering your problem, so maybe you could look elsewhere for an answer

Normally I wouldnt. Im pretty tolerable when it comes to this kinda shit, but I felt personally offended when I first read the post.

The guy was completely knocking people who dont juice. What if some gullible kid read his post and started juicing because he doesnt want to be an "average joe benching 20 lbs". It just sends the wrong message.

You know what Im saying? My name calling was innappropriate but did far less damage then what this guys post could have potentially done.

No one ever listens to some one when they are being a jerk. I feel the same as you and this is why this member is no longer with us. However we must all strive to make ef a place where we all speak to each other with respect, and as adults. I forum where people enjoy coming because they know name calling and rude internet fighting tough guy talk is not going to happen.

We all know we can get a point across just as well with out the name calling. We are a respectful group of people on ef.

I know you are a respectful person to. You got ahead of yourself once. No big deal lets just tone it down a bit.
