Laura Branigan Dead At 47

Singer and 80s icon Laura Branigan with songs such as "Gloria", "Self Control" and "Power of Love" passed away of a Brain Anyeurism Thursday night. I met Laura years ago, she was a class act. She can sing rings around most of todays Avril Lavignes and Britneys. She will be missed.

Yep. We all have an appointment with death. It could happen anyday. Most people push it to the back of their minds because their psyche cannot deal with death. An exception is cultures that have a healthy attitude towards death. America is not one of them.

She was due to put out another CD too. I was getting sloppy drunk last night and started singing Gloria.
