I've only dated a guy that I met in a bar once. I didn't sleep with him on the first date.

I did sleep with him on the second date. :worried:

We were in a committed relationship for a year, though. So, that isn't so bad, I don't think.
 
If I like a guy enough I wont sleep with him on a first date but I dont wait too long. I want sex too.

Well, I'm gonna just be honest as always here and say that I have went all the way on a first date but then agian I waited 3 months with another guy. The guy I waited 3 months for....well, I had wish I would of put out sooner so then I wouldn't of wasted those 3 months with him....hehehe :)
 
I'm always honest ...... no need to lie about it. Hell, I don't care what people think of me. I find that you can try hard to have everyone love you but there will still be those that don't so why not just be yourself and attract only those that love you for what you really are? :whatever:

One nighters and fucking on the first date are different things - to me at any rate. Picking up someone for the sole idea of sex is not the same thing as taking someone out trying to make them believe that you want to "get to know them" and hope you get some.

I think that might be a problem some people have - is separating those two ways of thinking.

See it was different every time as I dated near exclusively online. If there was A LOT of personal contact before we met in the flesh and if that carried over into the date and I was feelin' him anything could happen. It all depended on a few factors.

However, if there was little contact before the physical date then the more I liked the guy, the less I would do in the way of kissing/sex. I know it sounds wierd but if I really REALLY REALLY liked the guy and didn't want to screw things up and wanted to take my time to truly get to know him and he me/not even a kiss was exchanged. A warm full-on body hug above the waist - absolutely, but that is it. If I didn't really like him and he didn't get on my nerves too much and I was there (meaning too far to come back home that night) I might or might not have doinked him just to get my itch scratched. But, that was a NIGHTMARE for the mst part. You only have to do that a coupla few times to realize that no matter how horny you are, the trouble you have to go through to get your clothing off just aint worth the ordeal of having to get them back on again in a hurry so you can bolt as quickly as humanly possible before he even realized you were gone - the sex was usually THAT BAD. :worried:

As for my husband - I don't think we made it past 5 hours and I was rocking his world. We had daily contact for about a month - hours and hours and hours on the phone/chatting/emailing. Our first date lasted 2 weeks. Our second date also lasted 2 weeks and we were married on our 3rd date. Since that time I think we have been separated for maybe 2 weeks. Will be married one year on Halloween.

There are always exceptions to every rule. :heart:

I went out with a girl this weekend, and we talked about this. She said she had had a 1 nighter before, but never had sex on the first date. So I figured out quickly I wasnt getting laid. However, I really am not interested in her, as far as dating her again. I'd love to fuck her though. So the question is, if she would have had sex with me should I have done it? She would have been wanting a relationship and I would have just wanted sex. Should I make myself miserable by not getting off and going home horny as hell or should I have pleased myself and let her worry about me not calling her back again? Why is it my responsiblity to not hurt her feelings?

You only don't give a hug if something really fucking weird went down. Never had that happen.

Depends on what I'm looking for - if I like her, I hope she just kisses me with a slight bit of making out. If I'm attracted to her but don't really like her, I usually hope she'll sleep with me. I don't ask out girls I'm not attracted to so I'm not really sure about the other options.

When I was younger, I handled it like the above though I'm much less likely to waste my time nowadays. In my defense, I always told 'em what was up but I've been powerfully stupid and rude. I believe I once said "I think you should shut up and we should have sex." She must have thought I was joking or something even though I totally wasn't. I actually ran into that girl two days ago - still into the fitness thing and looking good. Class act for sure.

You can also say "I really don't see this turning into a relationship" BEFORE sex and girls will still sleep with you. Like, wtf I don't know but I can get a pretty good inkling if we're clicking so if I've got such a feeling, I'll blurt it the fuck out before sleeping with a girl - I ain't doing that dirtbag bullshit where I know I'm starting to not feel it and don't say anything (assuming the aforementioned course of action doesn't fall into the dirtbag category). Honesty is gold.

Which is why I make cheap first dates......my first date with my last serious gal started about 10:00 and ended at 8:00...

1. Went to church with her.
2. Lunch at Jed's, slightly less than $20.00, I paid.
3. A long walk at the park.
4. A movie at the dollar theatre,she paid regardless of my objection.

Yes I did, I even took her to a Sanctus Real concert, her favorite Christian band, for her birthday....

I still attend church with my mother, Sunday school and the regular service, she appreciates it.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeesus. That is the longest first date ever. On my last first date, I took the girl out for drinks. I bagged myself on a pole about crotch-height within the first 30 minutes of picking her up. I was paying for park and forgot it was behind me when I turned around. It was pretty smooth.

I am the same way, I really do not like guys paying for me! Not sure I could explain why, but I think it may have something with being so independent.
