Was it good though? I thought from the previews it looked pretty lame. Didn't we get enough chick fighting from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon? I know I did.

It was definitely no Crouching Tiger.I would definitely recommend The Rundown over it.Wasn't the worst film I've seen,had some funny moments in it,but also had some annoying shit.All in all I'd give it about a 6 out of 10.

If you are talking big budget hollywood films, then there aren't too many filmmakers out there to rival Tarantino.

On the indie scene, yes there are many filmmakers who are great at their craft. It's much easier to take chances when 50 mill, isn't on the line.

Tarantino is an obvious fan of film, and it shows in his work. His films have some of the best dialogue to be found in the crap-factory of big budgeted film.
