KC and the Sunshine Band

Did you know Toni Tenille sang back up on the Dark Side of the Moon -- talk about six degrees of separation.

Actually, I think she was credited on "The Wall",

And yes, I saw Dead shows deep into the triple digits... and seeing Ray Charles, B.B.King, Etta James, the Fabulous Thunderbirds all on the same night was pretttttty creamy.....

Hey! Obiwan! you werent working for R.D. at Washington Street were you?!?!? We should swap catering horrors some time... lol

Yeah, but were they good? They were great this past weekend -- sounded like George Clinton.
Yeah, we enjoyed it. It was one of those spur of the moment things. We were driving along Ocean Highway and I looked up at the marquee on the Convention Center and we were like, “K.C. & The Sunshine Band, Huh?" We both laughed and then decided, "Okay, why not.” The girl I was dating at the time remembered them too, so we went and saw them and had fun.

Best concert going these days in Bjorn Again. They are like ABBA impersonators but they look and sing exactly like them, only better. It's a freakin' time warp. They pretend like they are them and after a while you believe them. The audience was so flipped out at the concert I went to. I'd never seen such a frenzied crowd, but then again, it was San Francisco.
