Just In: Nick Hogan gets 8 months!

Razorguns

Well-known member
17 y/o Immature Buttaface street terror Nick Hogan just got 8 months (read: 4 months with early release). Sucks, but at least he's getting in jail - and a guilty verdict. This sets up perfectly for the family of the banged up for life marine to sue the family's ass off for MILLIONS.

Not a good year for the Hogans. :)

(He's led away in handcuffs. I wonder if they'll post pics.)

Conclusion: Don't be an immature loser fuck idiot and race your car on CITY STREETS. That could be my Mini-Van with groceries, a 3 year old, rockin out to Sabbath you could be bashing into.

Hoo-rah! :)

Do you think this divorce is a ploy to keep there fortune?

I don't think so. It's hard for the Hogans to be public and hide their money. Their income would be very public in a divorce setting and clear to any lawyer to see.

The accident probably created stress between the two, and thereby aggravated the already existing strain between them. Most divorces occur when a couple is going through hard times (very predictable response).

if they're smart (or at least smart enough to think to pay someone who is smart) they have various corporations and trusts set up to hide and protect their assets.

you cant just do that. they can go back several years in your finances to see if you tried to hide it. if it were that easy nobody would get paid. trust me i used to help seniors hide their money but i always had to tell them that its ok as long as nothing happens in the next 2 or 3 years, some states 5 cause they can go back that far and take it from you. even if you give all your money away they will go after the people you gave it to.

I am sure most is hidden. YOu don't put yourself out in the public like that and leave yourself open for lawsuits!

I agree he was always racing around in that car on the show!! Daddy can't protect him now!

Wondering that since Nick is actually employed can they sue him but not his family. Usually you sue the parents because the kid has no money. But in this case he does so they would have to go after him wouldn't they?

Someone was saying that if they split and there assets were divided then the lawsuit could only go after Hulks half and not Lindas half due to the vehicle being registered in Hulks name. Wheres Army Vet when you need him.

but i doubt the hogans in this case are going to try and pull a fast one and hide their money. im sure they will settle with the family and never let it go to the jury.

This is the Hogans - they buy big houses, expensive cars, lavish jets - and then brag about it on TV.

Plus during divorces, i HIGHLY doubt each side will say the other side is penniless. They'll probably squeel on each other, dictate where all the money is, how much they're all worth, etc. etc. and any lawyer can use that to their advantage. It's like they're doing the work for them.

Plus you can take their income. I doubt Hulk and Brooke are working for free.

Plus if they lie on their income taxes - the government can go after them as well. More Hogans go to jail.

Wesley Snipes tried that, didn't work out too well. :)

I think they'll probably go for both him and his family.

Money follows the car and insurance. Now his insurance should be primary and if the settlement exceeds his insurance then the Hogans will have to provide the rest

What exactly is wrong with the victim? What injuries did he sustain?

He got fukked up pretty bad. Like a coma, disabled for life kinda bad.

This case was all criminal. Reckless driving causing an accident. Which is why he had NO leg to stand on.

The civil trial will focus on the injuries sustained to the driver. And since he already was found guilty - it now comes down to how much of the injury is attained to not wearing a seatbelt, and how much is it from the reckless behavior of the defendant. Him being 'in shape' will also be factored in, to the plaintiffs side.

And since the marine is young - the concept of 'lost wages and lost pleasure of life' over decades can be measured in the millions. Lawyers will have mucho fun here.

He used to brag on forums how bad-ass of a racer he was. Stupid kid.

I know I watched the Hogans show once and he was taking a speed racing course and was taking drifting lessons.. He is pretty much done

what do you expect when a 17 yo gets in a super car? Shame on his parents for letting him have a supra, and im sure he had a shit load of money dumped into it as well.

if that was my kid i would have emancipated his ass and reported my car stolen. fuckin kid not only ruined his friends life but he ruined his own and his families. with all the documented shit he's done. tickets within hours apart from eachother or days apart, making a street racing vid. with is family in the vid racing, when him and his friend STOLE the green supra when he didn't even have a license on the tv show for a joyride. him doing burnouts on the streets of miami and whatever else. why the fuck did he only pull 4 months of time??? he was "threatened" with 8 but you know he'll get out in the 4.

he got 7 years or months??? shit like this pisses me off

No need to hide assets when property in Florida is protected. The rest of his income might be fair game but he's tied a boatload into property to cover himself.

So , if you own property its not able to be attached? His money would be able to, right? I wonder how much liability insurance he had on himself and his cars?

his friend is an idiot

1. not wearing a seatbelt

2. being in the car when they were racing

marine or not, he is a fucktard too

Well you know he wasn't that smart or he would have went in the Army!! J/J

In civil cases.

I mean, you can't rob a bank and buy a house in Miami and expect to keep it after you get out of prison.

Yes, but I would be shocked if he did not already have a trust or LLC set up years ago for his trademarks and name

i know one thing, once i know somebody is a dangerous driver i never get into a car while they are driving again. everybody on the planet knew hogan's son is a fuck up. you couldn't pay me enough to sit in a car with him while he was driving.

I KNEW someone would jump in here and jump on the marine.

WOULD IT MADE A DIFFERENCE IF HE CRASHED INTO YOUR 3 Y/O DAUGHTER INSTEAD??

Same act. Same car. Same behavior. Is who he injured the decider in how much of a crime he broke? Does the law say 'Reckless Driving charges are dependent upon whether the other passengers wore seat belts or not'.

There's NO LAW against being stupid.

There IS A LAW against putting everyone on the street in danger.

So drinking & driving is okay - as long as you can prove you always get home fine?

The guy's a fucktard, and now he's in jail.

as a guy who owns a tricked out supra
I'll be cruising down the interstate at a modest 85
passing mini-vans etc.
and I'll look in my rearview and that mini-van I passed doing 85
is now right on my ass
I can see the little kids
and the dad

You dork. I was reading that like it was a poem. And I was like "Dammit, none of the lines rhyme. Spartacus sucks at haikus'.

We should "rhyme day" on EF. That'd be fun.

anyone who has a decent high dollar and/or recognizable sports car knows what I'm speaking of
it's a bit of a bitch to drive them because of how the others drivers react
oh and they love to pull out in front of you

I've put about 2000 miles on my supra in the past 2 years

Change the subject
Why don't you.

No matter what I say.
You still suck at Haiku.

I've buried plenty of teens dead in an automobile
for 10 years I was the guy who went to the wrecks and got the body out
the hogan kid is like about half the young male drivers
a 19 year old kid who worked for us loved my supra
he'd tell me about how him and his buds drag raced etc. etc.
I cautioned him
he's dead

that is true
stories like this make me blue

but what can you do
in this world full of poo

your only option is to sue
when your world is split in two

yes, it does make a difference. when you get into a car with that moron driving than you are asking for it. he is 23 years old. why is he hanging out with a 17 year old? there is a law that says you have to wear your seat belt too, which is a law against being stupid.

He is in a private cell with his own private yard due to the fact that he is the only juvenile in the Pinellas County Jail.. He cannot have anything to do with any other inmates.

He will be able to lift weights, have catered food delivered, play X-box and watch satellite wrestling... country club
