Just had an interesting car experience on the road

The back of a ZR-1 is wider than a normal C-4 vette. The difference can be seen around the licence plate a regular C-4 has no room between the plate and the reverse lights a ZR-1 has a few inches of black plastic there. Also the third brake light is above the rear window on the ZR-1 not molded into the plastic above the licence plate.

The zr-1 has a wider rear end to accomodate 11 inch rear tires. It also has the lt-5 engine instead of the lt-1 on most of those vettes, and the lt-4 on the '96 anniversary edition and grand sport. The lt-5 I believe makes 405 horsepower, while the lt-1 of that time made 300 horses and the lt-4 made 330. At that time it was the fastest corvette ever made as far as top speed was concerned. The z06 has now taken the crown.

C6 should be out soon.

Since the z06 put out 405, I hope the C6 puts out at least 470-480 to rival the viper.

i saw a couple of the c6 kit cars, i guess they were pushing out close to 450hp on a dyno
