Just had an interesting car experience on the road

ZR-1's had a different front end grill than the ZR-2 's did? Am I close?

Do I win the fuzzy dice for my RV mirror now? ;-)

Vixy you win just for knowing that ZR-1's exist.

I don't think I've ever seen a ZR-2. I think I remember reading a review of one in Road & Track way back in the day, but I'm not sure if Chevy produced it.

ZR-1's had the same front end as a stock Vette. They have a ZR-1 badge on the back, plus the exhaust pipes are quad tips squared off as opposed to dual tips round off that started on the Vette in 93. ZR-1's also come with a modified engine that puts out over 400 horse. I don't know if it has a Muncie transmission or not. Basically I just know they exist and can recognize them by the badge.

Here's the backend of a 93 ZR-1.

I love the color of the 93 ZR-1! It screams: " Mellow Yellow? Why, yes! Laugh all you want cuz you can't afford me anyways".

What is the dude on Ebay asking for the car, btw?

Auburn car show was a few weekends ago. You need to check that out if you're into cars. Talk about some beaut's on the auction block!

If I recall hubbies convo- The ZR 2's are from the early seventies- 1970 or 71!

Yeah I looked up the ZR-2 on Yahoo after you mentioned that and saw a bunch of links to 1970 and 71 Vettes. Good job, Mr. Vixenbabe.

The guy is asking $20K for the ZR-1. There's three of them up for bid right now....yellow, red, and black.

Vix - have you two watched American Hot Rod on Discovery channel? It's basically a spin off of the reality show American Chopper where this guy named Boyd Cottington(?)and his crew builds a hotrod during the hourlong program. I watched it for the first time last night. Good stuff.

Mr. C, We caught the previews for the American Hot Rod Show ( I believe the 1st show was two Sunday's ago?) WE MISSED IT! DRATS! The lil old lady they featured in the preview seemed like a gritty ole bitty! lol I've got to log onto TLC to check when the show will run again!

$20K for that Vette? She looked cherry from the pics! Damn, I think I'd hold onto it( IF I COULD) til peeps start spending money again! Auburn car show was slow at moving cars this year too, so my dad in law stated seeing it firsthand while there.
